He can't reveal all the truth about the incidents that happen inside the jail. Since he held an important post, his narrative will be such that the jail is compliant with all the regulations. I don't think in reality all the inmates can avail the rightful facilities as prescribed by the law. Please watch Nakkheeran Gopal's interviews about the hardships he faced inside the jail.
Honourable Retired DIG Ramachandran sir, One important point is till today those going inside to jail for any reason when he come back to normal life, percentage of people change the life to normal human being very very low, whereas those going inside even for small issues he developing his / her skills in better way and wants to do bigger crime when they are coming to society even on parole period.
