Those of you that think everyone should mourn in your worship really amaze me. Laughing, dancing, rejoicing in my faith is something i will do till the day i die. I want people to know my faith is a happy life, not a mournful one. The days of standing on stage and being all "dignified" is why the number of christians shrink each year.
This wonderful group lifts my spirit to the sky! How can you be a Christian and not be happy enough to dance and show it? King David even danced before God!
Ernie Haase and my Uncle's Quartet! I love listening to Ernie Haase, my Uncle Jason Crabb did a revival with these brothers in Christ. If you don't believe in dancing in the Lord, or dancing in the spirit! You shouldn't bother going to a Pentecostal church!!! Because thats What we do!!!
I love everything that this group does and I will always be grateful for everything that they do to help others in their journey to achieve what ever they may be struggling with in their life.
I have been to MANY of their concerts, and know some of the guys personally as friends, and they are FAR from being fake! They definitely exhibit the JOY OF THE LORD! One would be hard pressed to find a more godly group of men, who truly know how to love the Lord AND people, from all walks of life!
Nothing fake about this, they just love spreading the message through song to the crowd, love how they are getting the younger generation into this style of music.
there is nothing fake about these guys they truly love the lord yes they have changed over the years but they are reaching the younger generation and sometimes u got to do what you are feel led by the spirit to do to reach people your not going to make everyone happy
Granted i wasnt a big fan of everything they've done. I like it when they stand flatfooted and sing. That being said, they have generated a new interest in gospel music among the younger generation that no other group has. Give them credit. Sinners aren't beating down the doors of the local churches. You have to give them a reason to come to somethimg like this and i have to say ernie's doing just that. Ive seen them in a church setting and they tone it down considerably. Get excited instead of looking defeated!
It saddens my heart to see all the "naysayers" on here criticizing this group. What they are doing very well is presenting the music and the love of God in a format that the young folks may be attracted to. If we do not reach that younger generation, those kids that are at the fringes of the church, then that generation is lost. Do you understand that we, the church, the gospel, are just ONE generation from extinction? If we do not reach out, beyond the churchhouse door, and take the message of God in a format that those young people can relate to, if we fail them, then the chruch will have failed, and there will not be the next generation of christians who worship the Lord! I believe Ernie and the other members of this group have been called to fill this gap. If they do not stand in the gap, who will? Who will win the next generation?
Love EHSS! I saw them in Cleburne, TX, on a very small stage, and they were a blast! I really like how all of the guys interact with the audience. Gospel audiences tend to be very quiet (mostly older people), and EHSS really got them involved. Live music shows are definintely about the music, but also about showmanship. EHSS does a wonderful job of both!
sorry......but I too saw EH ans SS when they were so much better than they are now......when they lost the bass singer Tim.....they went down big time....the other guy they lost was also better than the ones here....I like Ernie, always have....but their show has gone in the wrong direction in improvement.....that is my opinion of course.
Okay, I hate to say this, but I have loved Ernie since I was a little girl and I can't even watch his new stuff anymore. It just seems like over the last couple of years it stopped being about praising God and more about playing to the crowd. It comes across as very fake anymore and that saddens SO much. Of course, I don't know what is in their hearts but it just seems faked.
Not sure how you can even say that! I is definitely not fake and these guys love the Lord and it clearly shows. I guess all Christian groups are just supposed to stand still like an icicle and sing woe is me. If you don't like it, don't listen to it, but don't even begin to judge what they are doing because the response at the live concerts is amazing and people are making life changing decisions.
I don't see how I was judging. What I said was that it "seemed" fake. That implies that to ME and ME alone it seems that way. I'm not the only one that has noticed it. As for all Christian groups standing and singing, obviously I don't think that if I have enjoyed EH&SS since the very beginning. All I meant was that over the last 2 years, the performance seems like it has become more important than the message. God Bless.
I can see where you could feel this way. I think though that the longer they perform the more their personalities start to come out. It is natural to play to the crowd. Don't let it bother you. Try to find the joy of listening to them again. Maybe try the Collingsworth family. they are really good but a little different from Signature Sound.
These guys aren't fake they are presenting the gospel message in a wonderful way and using their songs to influence good I can't believe you are downing them that stinks
You and the group need to start a comedy show or something of that nature, and quit saying you're trying to glorify God. You're on stage dancing around like the world does and being a crowd pleaser, there is no anointing anymore and that's sad. You need to find a new career and stop being absolutely fake. It's disheartening to see groups that fall to the wayside like this

Bravo EHSS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the only quartet that’s singing and dancing their love for Jesus. They are Christian worshippers in action.
My favorite arrangement of this song.

These guys are great...I love seeing these young people in the audience..Praise God!

Fabulous! Ernie and his merry men are the best. Love the upbeat rendition.
