  • Hi everyone and thank you for watching our latest video. Today we are back with the Jaguar XF 2010. It's due for it's MOT and soon after my Father In Law replaced the set of tyres the the brake pad wear indicator came on, so in this video I tackle those.
Take Care, Jeff & Jenny xx

Hi Alan and thanks for the information. It will come in useful shortly.
The car passed the MOT with quite a few advisories mainly suspension bushes etc. Unfortunately the rear brake pads are low. My Father in law is going to order those, but not in great rush to do them.
      Thanks again, Jeff

You're really getting me through my 2010 xf, just done your coolant expansion tank fix, agreed the back hose clip is a bastard but its done now thanks to you😊

Hi Gary, I'm glad that you got the coolant expansion tank done OK. Yes that bottom hose is a pain in the backside.
The car passed the MOT, but it turned out that it was the back pads were low, so that is why the light came on. My Father in law has ordered some pads, but not in to much of a rush.
      Thanks for watching.
      Take care, Jeff

@@DiecastPowderCoating very cool, I’ve just changed my plate lights to led. And onto the oil and filter. Now I’ve watched your other video 👍

Cheers Jeff....you and I both in terms of learn as you go along....I have always used a G clamp to wind the piston in. Its always a challenge with a newer car....the old ones like my 05 Proton are a lot easier. Taking pics as you go is always a good tip.....I have always tried to do that since ive had an iphone! cheers for the vid

Thanks very much Adam, I hope you are well. I was surprised that the G clamp worked . Knowing Jaguar I thought that they would be screw in ones.
The car passed the MOT, but it turned out it was the rear ones that were low. My Father in law has ordered the pads, but there's no great rush to do them.
      Thanks for watching.

Hi Shaun, I hope you are well. Luckily enough it passed the MOT with quite a few advisories, mainly bushes etc.
The other thing was that the pad sensor on the rear was the problem in the first place. My Father in law has brought the pads, but there is no great rush to fit them.
      Thanks for watching.
      Take care, Jeff

Hi Kevin and thanks for watching. I'm very sorry, I can't remember what they were as my Father in law bought them on Ebay. I only get the pleasure of fitting them.
      Take care, Jeff
