Talk about synchronicity, I live in rural Ohio and just saw raccoons doing the same thing in a big tree in my front yard today, but in my case, it was a mom raccoon and a baby raccoon making their way up to a tree hole.

Appreciate the honesty. I show it like it is on my channel and have been blasted for it on occasion. I actually did an experiment several years back where I posted a not so good shot and talked bad about it in the video. A majority of comments were blasting me for a terrible shot. Many comments were downright disrespectful comments. I finally got sick of the comments so I deleted that hunt after several months then re-edited it talking "good" about the bad shot and talked about it as being unfortunate and I had very few bad comments. Lesson learned was, even if it's a terrible shot, if you talk positively about a terrible shot, there are a lot less negative comments. Must be a psychological thing. Thanks for sharing the hunt. All the best Chris.

We've all been there and lost a buck for one reason or another, it's never any fun. I recently moved away from expandables, fixed blade VPAs will be in my quiver from now on. I've done a lot of testing with them and they fly beautifully out of a properly tuned bow. They are made near my home town in Indiana and there is plenty of evidence of real-world success to convince me to go with VPAs. They are a rock solid, one piece design and durable.

Great video even with a gun or crossbow things can happen. Spent a day and a half looking for a big doe my uncle hit about the same spot with his rifle, seen the doe the first week of Jan running around the field again about the same time of day. Very little blood at the impact and nothing after for almost 50 yards and even then was just a couple drops. Keep your head up.

I’m hoping he made it I spent a week grid searching and found nothing
