Best Döner kebap was in the late 70's in Newtown in Sydney.... Made by the man him self Muzzafer usta. Master of Masters he called himself back in the time in Sydney. Just plain Jane...no herbs or spices.... Minced lamb with just salt and little white pepper...rolled in traditional lebanese bread with lettuce tomato onion.... No nothing.....plain Jane.....no condiments.... Did that tast so good so enticing so delivering to your appetite. But it's all gone. I can't find that taste for 50 years anywhere..... Every know and then I make it at home and it does brings back the ORIGINAL TASTE. THE WAY IT WAS MENT TO BE.

Mixed kebab here in Hull come with a couple of pittas, lots of chunky chicken pieces, and some lamb koftas as well as a ton of donermeat. But they are different from place to place. Chilli sauce and sour cream is a must.
I have had many kebabs in my time and I wouldn't waste my money on the crap from Origin. Now if you want a GOOD kebab, you could hit up OG Kebabco in Loganholme near where the Foodworks used to be.
Geez I miss a 12am Kebab, the younger me loves ‘em but the older me is having a shot of Gaviscon instead of vodka afterwards 😆.
