I honestly really like Rocko's love cycle because you'll notice that it shows a lot of character growth in his character over time. Starting off with having an unhealthy and creepy obsession with Melba, to trying to seek out other woman which shows that he his slowly getting over is obsession with her, and eventually finally gets a girl friend in Shelia. Rocko honestly has the best character arc in the show, it is kind of sad to me that no one really talks about it.

I think sheila was rocko's best love interest because we all know two things that they have in common: comic books and jackhammers and plus they both wear similar shirts she's like rocko's female fox counterpart and I gotta say congrats to rocko for winning her over at the end of the episode he finally found a girl of his dreams it's just too bad sheila was only in one episode it would have been nice to see rocko's modern life continue for a few more seasons just to see where their relationship goes I mean come on have we all not seen the fan art between the two.

The biggest example is when Rocko and Gladys got arrested for ding dong ditching and went to court, the judge mistaken this for a wedding between the two, and Gladys is shown to be smiling with that idea , while Rocko is shown to be confused. lot of female characters really like Rocko come to think of it.
Since I think sheila is rocko's best love interest and since he won her over at the end of the episode I've been trying to think of a great couple name for them like rocila or shecko I can't decide.

I had hoped they would return but it never came. If I had to pick between them then Sheila wins by a hair. Amelia is cool and I enjoy the fact that Wallace was okay with a "misinterpreted" romance between Rocko and Heifer. Now that I think about it, Rocko got into a lot of situations with Heifer and Filbert. For comedy I know but still. Anyway why Sheila wins. I think Sheila and Alicia would come out more if Joe Murray and crew would do more new episodes after Static Cling. Sheila and Alicia debuted in appearance in the final season of Rocko's Modern Life after all. Sheila can be a prominent love interest to Rocko like how Mary Spuckler is to Bart from the Simpsons if Rocko's Modern Life gets new seasons to continue off from the original show. .

Yeah, REALLY wish Rocko got lucky already... even the comic practically gave him that ONE chance, but no... Tbh, a lot of ladies have shown they like him, honestly.
Theres the issue though. Him and Sheila were pretty much perfect, so its hard to picture why they were not together after her first appearance. Heck we never found out what happened between him and Alicia.
In that part of the episode compliments his jackhammering with “you sure know how to handle a jackhammer”, probably not an intended innuendo (like many other moments in the show) but it still amuses me as does Rocko’s smooth reply of “Thanks it’s a hobby... are you interested in jackhammering?” It’s cute
