“Chuna Machha Patrapoda”, is an authentic Odia recipe. Charred/Burnt marinated small fish with flavourful mustard sauce wrapped in banana leaf. Roasting in banana leaf gives a tasty aromatic smoky flavor to the fish & the raw pungent smell of mustard oil makes it amazingly unique. Here I have prepared this recipe on a gas stove as many people don’t have easy access to wood fire chulhas these days. Prepare this wonderful recipe & enjoy its delectable taste with hot steamed/boiled rice & Pakhal (water rice) as well.
