I got a taste of what Ryan said. Alameda is a suburb close to Oakland and San Francisco is a very small town with a tiny main street and I lived there for about 7 years. It was great going to the ice cream shop or coffee place or our favorite Japanese restaurant and actually KNOW the owners and regulars. I live in LA now and that concept sounds so alien, lol
I had so much fun diving for lobster in the Florida keys and then at night we had a bomb dinner. The hubby was spear fishing getting fish. It was an amazing week.
what ryan is desribing is kinda the vibe of where i come from 😭😭 everyone sort of knows everyone and its the same generation since forever living in the same place, its common to always stumble upon familiar faces when out and about
Ryan, you could live in a small town where you work at a cafe and everyone is friendly and knows each other. But then there's some people who are still going to be committing crimes and doing bad things like in the city, except it's more secretive and we don't hear about it as much in the media.
Ryan: People from the Midwest / middle america like myself, sometimes we feel stuck because we don't have the means to move to a bigger city. But overall we are content with small town living because it is all we have ever known. It's hard to leave a community where you went from kindergarten to Gr 12 together and you know all the local shops. Watch the show "Corner Gas". It's filmed in SK, my home province and its a great depiction of the sweet simple life
It would be so cool to be one of the older ladies from Jeju Island that does sea diving for her shellfish sales for a day. I'm so scared of the ocean, I'd love to experience that kind of expertise and familiarity in the ocean like that one time!
I can give you a guide on how to camp like Bedouins 🤣 for a day... only First count how many people and then decide on which State the camping is going to be, you need Land Cruisers, Nissan VTC and any truck . Then you need to find a good camping spot, where there is some trees and if there is any sand dunes, you can camp above the dunes but do not camp under a dune cause you dont want to be covered with sand if there is any wind, then pre plan what you gonna eat there if you will cook or will take pre-made meals. If you are going to cook there prepare everything you need in packages Bart know how to do that he is an expert. What you need to take with you: 1- you need a red/white/black mat rug and cushions which looks like the tents that are made with a goats' hair.. you can have other modern style as well. 2- wood... lots of wood 3- water... lots of water 4- pots, for cooking, and pots for making tea or coffee 5- cups and other tableware 6- trash bags *must* 7- lights, what ever outdoors lights you can find and can be easy to use 8- pack juices and snacks 9- sheesha if you want! But i dont support smoking ✌🏿🌝 10- dress for the weather and dont forget to bring jackets and blankets if it got cold. Tasks must be distributed, each person do something or bring something. And thats it, nothing special, what is more important in this kind of camps is the company, if you have the right people to go out with you! You will have a successful "Kashtah" which means a trip ✨ Its family friendly trip and can be only carefulboyz trip also 😌 Ps: I'm a biologically a Bedouin and its not racist or anything 🤣😭
I imagine ppl choose to live in “small” towns because they have a great sense of belonging, like they have their tribe and support system (of various degrees, in terms of intimacy) which reminds me of an episode of joe rogan podcast (I think jordan peterson was guest) and they talked about how ppl need and seek connection and tribe (sense of belonging) and that successful communities that thrive are usually made up of 200 ppl or so
Hunter gatherers aren't constantly surrounded by artificial noise like static, electricity, cars, speakers, air conditioners, and stuff that affects our hearing and tinnitus and stuff. I think there was a study that said hearing is tied to memory loss.
For once Joe had the best answer 😂😂 it would be fascinating to go back to being the early humans again! My answer is I’d want to experience the life of someone a lot less fortunate than myself so I can fully appreciate what I have in life not that I don’t already but a little reminder wouldn’t hurt lol. Instead of the other way around living a day in the life of someone super rich they have everything you could ever want and then when you go back to your life you’re really depressed with where you are in life. Na I couldn’t do that to myself.
I'd wanna be Travis Walton, who the movie Fire in the Sky is based on. He was abducted by aliens. Plus, peeing standing up would be cool, but mostly for the alien stuff. I met him at a paracon and he's actually the sweetest man.
Or switch with the Pope and have all the information he has. All the shit the Catholic Church has done, where the bodies are buried. It would be crazy. 😂
And.....Bart hits another out of the park at the end of the program. Living the life of Geo....genius
You guys! Smile, it’s Friday!!!!! ❤
CHEESE

I live in a big small town too, and it's nice~ whenever i have to go to LA alone, it feels pretty lonely 😬

Mongolian Eagle Hunters would be my pick. They ride on horses, dress in furs and have big ass attack birds. Coolest day ever.
Bart could really sing. Would love to see him work with someone on a song, or even put out a cover. Ryan!!

Careful Boyz go to Dubui and ride the camels through the desert for some tea, hookah, and chat lol
Oohh~ Ryan's cool answer reminds me of that Korean gangster movie: New World. It's fuckin good.
I love Ryan's idea. Not available any more, sadly.Even British and Irish pubs are declining. But I do share his view...

Ryan wants to be at a small coffee shop, I live in a small city up Canada. Everything is relaxed, a very simple life where everyone knows everyone
Shaq
The Great Kali from wrestling.
