This rod is only use for jigging right? Can you use it for casting? if so, will it break the tip of the rod?
vsonic86 this rod is for jigging, casting yes you can do it but the performance is greatly reduced due to the design and the rod is pretty much solid carbon fiber or about 98 percent so pretty tough stuff, I personally have a solpara and it feels great for light jigging

There are many to choose from, for ultralight stuff u can look at the aji rods. They are great to use

It really depends on the jig weights you require. There are many many rods on the market now

that's rod,line,jig is ul? what's ul rules?
mat fox we use major craft UL rods, mostly made for aji style fishing. Lines are usually pe0.6 and the jigs are from ima, duo, jackall and other quality japanese brands. There are no rules to UL, just light line to deliver the downsized lures
@@tacklesourcetv if u write light jigging i can understand its light game.. but u write ultra light.. ul got its limit .. as i know.. if no rules there's no class
We jig with 4lb line for jigs as light as 7g. Sometimes you need UL gear to fool fussy fish.
