The garage thing actually makes a lot of sense to me. You see people towing their cars behind RVs pretty often. Also, it would be a perfect setup for a rich person with a track car that wants to travel to different tracks.
Its actually for show cars not track cars. Track car need tires and other equipment which is when you just buy a shipper and driver. This would not work for a track car or many reasons.
I can totally get the usefulness of stowing a car in a motor home. It allows you to travel the local area of where you're staying without doing so in a mammoth RV. Now would I want that in this first RV with a super car? Eh, no. But the applicable utility of it is cool. And the second one is more appealing.
Id rather just build a gas bike to zip around town, takes up as much space and weight as a bike, costs near nothing to build, and takes just a spit of gas.
It's cool but it's probably slow as shit and uses tons of fuel when you have a car stowed.. RVs are already heavy enough without an car Inbetween Honestly wouldn't trust storing my Expensive car Inbetween but guess it's cool if you wanna take a road trip with the family or friends but still need your car to get around town without driving w RV everywhere
The thing is, they’re in Germany, some amazing tracks and obv the Nurburgring. Seems like a super efficient way to enjoy your car, stay at the track and have a house basically right there for any car based road trips without the hassle of only being able to take what you can fit in a super car or truck and trailer and is obviously worlds above in comfort
Imagine going camping, trying to get the camp feeling, away from high tech and just enjoy your time and then seeing such a Battleship of a Motor Home driving next to your tent lol
@Carl Gunderson A Porsche is enjoyable to drive, with this thing you will drive 90kph max between other trucks. Then when you are at your destination you can get a hotel/villa whatever for like thousand to a few thousand per month, which will be bigger and more luxurious than this thing. For the price of this you can do that for 400+ months of vacation before you break even, not even including maintenance
I’m surprised Charlie doesn’t see why people wouldn’t want to drive their supercars on long road trips. Also the fact that if your a millionaire who buys this you’d probably hire someone to drive you where you have to go while you chill in the back. Then when you get to your destination you have your own car to drive around and don’t have to deal with the large vehicle
The reason why people would want the little car storage is to go to car shows or some type of event without putting mileage on the car. People who are gonna spend that much money on a car are probably going to want to keep it nice.
I think what Charlie and some of you guys are missing here is that a lot of the people who buys these motor homes will travel a lot from city to city (for work/leisure) but once they get to a city (especially a european city) it is inconvenient to drive a giant bus through most roads. So they will end up parking the bus on the edge of the city and then drive in with their car. Its actually incredibly practical (but is it really worth the money lol).
I don't know about parking it outside a city but there are a lot of old people that like camping so it makes a lot of sense for some rich old dude to spend this much. I think it's not really the biggest feature but just a nice add on to justify spending a few hundred thousand more. Everything inside looks great tbh.
The garage is actually really practical. A lot of the time when my family goes camping, we bring an extra vehicle in case we need to run into town and get food, drinks, firewood, etc. We don't wanna lug the whole RV there just to bring it back and hook it up again. We'd have to store all our stuff again. Also, you could put dirt bikes, regular bikes, ATVs under there easily and it would be super fun to have them stored away and available to play with.
Most national parks youre not allowed to harvest your own wood. Lmaoif you think you can just cut down any tree and use it as fuel youre too ignorant to comment
The car thing is actually the best feature of this rv. Rv’s are huge and when you get to where you’re going it’s hard to drive around town with them so you have a small mobile car instead of a giant rv to travel around. Other then that this rv is very similar to other models just with more expensive furnishings etc
Honestly, this is one of the few expensive rich people things that would actually make sense. Rather than having to tow your car and expose it to the elements, or tow it in a trailer, you can simply put it in the RV. It doesn't have to be an ultra-expensive hypercar, but having a backup car on road trips does have it's utility compared to other things some expensive motor homes may pack in.
My main concern with it is you couldn't fit like a proper luxury car under it, and would need to use a sports car. Sports cars are almost the exact opposite of luxury, they tend to be noisier, harder to get in and out of, and a much rougher ride.
This is actually WAY practical than most “rich people stuff”, like I get the idea rich people dumb but this thing actually has utility for someone who wants to live on the road and has the means to afford this.
Yea also a small mini car would suffice, its for like when you have to go somewhere quick but its not within walking distance, even a moped would suffice
@@gridlock1637 for real, I get thats its kind of Charlie's shtick and the normal cliché. But man that second rv looked so nice, and for half the price of the first one, it had a better interior that I was interested in. Kinda sucks that you can only take a smart car tho
@@deViant14 yes! Im not saying it has to be a supercar, but if I shelled out a million on a rv with a car space I would hate to drive a pooped out smart car lol
This is actually pretty damn lit. This rv is meant for rich people who wanna live on the road, and keeping your car down there is so if you wanna go into an urban area, you can take your car instead of your big ass rv.
i mean, you do see people towing their car behind their RV sometimes, but I imagine it would be much easier to drive with the car inside the RV instead. Also, does anyone know how they get the car out in teh second one?
These motor homes are for rich Europeans who travel around to stay at race tracks. You park this outside the track, and whenever you're not driving your supercar on the track it can be safely locked inside this motor home and you can relax in luxury within minutes of the track. It's absurdly unnecessary but that's what rich people want.
@@RusticRonnie This. Nobody would put their actual racing car in there - they have trucks for that, since you'll need a truck to store all the equipment anyway
Forget rich people, I want that. The supercar is stupid but the one with the compact car seems super useful for places that won't fit the RV. And the interior is so pretty. Being able to have your home with you wherever you go sounds amazing. I hope RVs like that get more popular so they're cheaper
@@ooohhenrybmblm I don’t know how Porches compare to other supercars but they’re small. Safe to say most supercars ain’t fitting in that garage on the side. The real cool thing to do would be to put some sport bikes in that RV. So when you get to your destination you and the boys can cruise on some motorcycles.
@@_Shay_ I mean, they showed a Chiron being put inside there so the space is not quite as small i think, but it would be a very tight fit and there's always a chance that you're off a few centimeters and end up damaging the care when it's being pulled inside. Anything bigger however will definitely not fit, i can't see a Mustang ever going in there lol.
When it comes to these high end motor homes I always wounder who these are for? It would be many many times cheaper to stay at 5 start hotels every day for years before buying one of these.
I know a few of the people who actually own motor homes like these, and there are generally a few groups: -Rich people who are car buffs, and moving a premium race/showcar from track to track -Rich people who want the experience of travelling cross country in a car for extended driving periods, but also want to maintain a plush lifestyle -Rich people who want a big motor home to keep in their garage and flex on people who visit as if they actually leave their 20 million dollar property for the first two groups it's actually a fairly practical investment, though one that's still high end and "glitz and glamour" lifestyle to a somewhat absurd degree.
@@JK-zd3md do they drive it themselves? In Europe you’d need a Truck drivers licence which comes with a required minimum driving (forgot if it’s hours or km) per year. So basically just Pro Truckers can drive them.
Ikr lmao anyone who can actually afford this doesn't care about gas price or milage there not like us who be like omfg Gas went up another 5 cents today you bastards rich people barely pay attention to that and I obviously wouldn't want this shit if I was mega rich but ngl it would be nice to not have to worry about stuff like Gas or groceries
As rediculous as it sounds, supercars really aren’t supposed to be driven all that much. That’s why they are transported places. The more you drive it, the more likely something will happen to it either mechanically or damage wise.
By that logic, you aren’t supposed to drive any car all that much, as the more you drive any car the more likely something will happen to it either mechanically or damage wise.
@@donovanjoseph737 the difference is repairs on a super car are expensive. the more miles you put on it the more the value drops, and when that depreciation gets to five or six figures it’s definitely something to avoid
@@donovanjoseph737 Is "any car" a supercar, though? I think those would be kinda expensive to repair or maintain. I don' think why you can invalidate the logic by applying it to other cars because the original commenter was kinda clear that they are talking about only supercars.
Damn am I the only one that thinks having a built in garage in the RV sounds pretty convenient? It’s perfect for long road trips and having your car fit inside to be ready to use if you need it is pretty cool. Be great if regular RVs had something like that
You don't even have to put your car in it. The extra storage space it brings sounds ultra nice! Like imagine putting in extra luggage, a bike, whatever fits! Put some chairs and a table there and you got yourself a mini pub ready to go!
@@rightsideup6304 That was my thought too lol. setup or even bolt down a table and some chairs, maybe even a barbecue, if you're going on an outdoors trip just gotta pop the plate out and voilá.
The budget way of this is to have a truck and tow your mobile home. Plus you get the bonus of being able to go to a normal mechanic for your truck if something goes wrong vs finding a guy to work on an rv
For the record, hypercars get like 6-10 mpg, so an RV is actually going to have similar if not better gas milage. That being said, the real benefit is not putting miles and ware on your expensive car just for travel. super/hypercars are for driving at a track, or showing off (usually), so driving a million dollar car that depreciates with every mile for the roadtrip where it could rain, or road conditions could be shit, doesn't make sense. Rich people usually get these cars shipped. If you could instead drive it yourself with your RV, it is a huge benefit. This stuff is for millionaires not regular people.
It's actually pretty convenient to bring an extra car when camping. It's hard to drive a motor home around so having an extra car is useful to have while you leave your motor home at the campsite.
@@hylianro cause it's fun to drive? what the hell is wrong with this comment section, there are several reasons why taking the car with the rv makes sense lmfao
@@hylianro they say supercars for branding or pushing towards clients with money. In all reality they'd likey just store the Toyota they use for everyday driving. Contrary to popular belief, most rich people don't blow money on show cars. That's poor people shit. Unless they're going to an actual car show with a 50's style convertible stored in there. That seems reasonable. Most legitimately rich people aren't buying this anyways.
My wife and I live on the road, and a simple transit van is more than enough if you want to live in a vehicle. I highly recommend the van life, just know that you don't have to be a douchy millionaire to do it.
Makes sense for rich people who tour for whatever reason (public speaking, musicians, etc). My parents tow their car behind their RV when they make their cross-country trips, so they can use the car to go to the store or restaurants once they get to where they're going. Rich people will want that same freedom.
I actually love this; you and the family are having a nice road trip, and when you just had enough with your family, you got a getaway car ready to use.
My family has a camper, and we detach it when we drive around to different camping spots, maybe to the store, or other attractions while leaving our camper at a campsite, which is basically the same thing as having a motorhome and another car. Very smart
as an RV manufacturer I can say almost everything in that RV is pretty common, they just have some slightly over engineered features included. Never seen a garage on an A class though.
Buying a RV is probably the closest I'll get to being a homeowner. Where I live a good chunk of the populace live in them since work requires them to pickup and move so often.
Agreed. I've always wanted to live in a tiny home/motor home. It's small and efficient (besides gas). It would be nice to have a solar-powered version!
The built in garage is an interesting concept however I would be interested to see what the implications of that would be in terms of Insurance coverage/liability in the event of a collision.
I will say, I don't think the people who can easily afford the $2 million price tag plus super car are gonna be super worried about the coverage. I'm certain the insurance company would definitely work with them to keep the thousands a month they pay in insurance.
30 years ago, I worked for a company that sold such things in germany (built in the US). It is a rich people's toy - it is totally possible, this model was bought by some guy, who just thought it would be cool to have one, just to forget it alltogether in his garage. Especially in germany, this things are very useless. You have a very, very big (and slow) motor vehicle that you have to steer through narrow roads. Usually these thing were sold when "friends" of rich people were nearby, to be able to brag about the money they have spent. And when you use this things nobody at the camping site would talk with you. That really adds to the experience.
Charlie: "Rich people are so dumb, why do they overpay for an unnecessary item?" Also Charlie: Extremely wealthy, owns a professional gambling table that's used for unpacking pokemon cards, and owns a giant warehouse garage with an office room that's used for a backyard project.

There are better ones in the market. More slide outs for more space and a different chassi so you aren't road bound. Also the gas lines are a bitch to fix in the big ones like these.
@@therac197 I'll be sure to use your advice the next time I win the lottery. But I wouldn't have thought about repairs, probably costs a mill just to get parts to fix this behemoth.
@@jimlahey8053 Getting the parts to fix it isn't that difficult atleast here in Europe. Before rona most things there here in maybe two weeks max, if we are talking about the slide out motor parts, furniture or other more specialised parts. Water pumps or heater use pretty standard parts which are the same as in most RVs on mini van basis. So the shop will probably have it at hand. No idea about the motor side of things though. Normal car shop might not be able to fix it / get the parts but a truck one should. Still just an Eurocargo or Mercedes truck with fancy cargo hold in the end.
i think you are overthinking the supercar compartment.. you see a lot of RVs with their car on a trailer being pulled. This just takes out the need for a trailer. If you are driving an rv around, you will likely stop at a camp site and it may be far enough away from restaurants/cities etc that you would want to drive your real car to those places.. so this allows you to do that. Actually a cool thing to have
I can't imagine driving one of these things anywhere. For work I had to drive a dump truck that was just a 6 wheel F-450, not even that big, and that thing was super hard to make turns with. You'd need to have experience with an 18 wheeler to even think about driving one of these. Shit, an 18 wheeler would be easier to drive than this, because the trailer is on a swivel hitch so it has a joint to turn with you. This thing is one long solid unit, I guess you'd need experience as a city bus driver.
Not to mention the undercarriage clearance on this is minimal enough to make me think a pothole would make me bottom out and smush one of my several bugattis
you can see those rvs as just trucks that got turned into rvs. do you see the problem of trucks turning around the sharp corner? well yes, you have to take the incoming lane for that but it's not like the huge problem is it not?
If you were a singer on tour, actor away on set this makes sense tbh. They have the comfort of home with the RV and if they want to drive around to go eat or whatever they have their car instead of having to drive the RV trying to find somewhere to park that big vehicle. It's basically the ideal tour bus.
Personally, I am not a fan of the whole "everything is motorized" thing. I'll bet you my top dollar that these things are absolute nightmares to service. Oh, the motor for your shades broke? We have to remove like 8 ceiling panels that probably won't look as good once we put them back. Oh, your car winch broke? We'll have to remove a whole chunk of the back end of the bus to fix it. Maintenance and servicing nightmares I'm sure these things are. I'd much rather have an RV that looks decent but I can get in there with a wrench and fix a plug or something with just a screwdriver and an attitude.
The last thing anyone who would purchase this would think is of servicing issues. They'd probably have several of these sitting in a garage area next to their multi million dollar mansion
I get the impression that critical doesn’t really know much about motor homes/camping trailers. Like he showed this thing having a freaking dish washer and he was like “who cares” lmfao

I’m not saying that this huge expensive RV is practical but it’s market makes absolute sense. Wealthy people who have the option to stow a car can give access to car shows, inner town convenience, or just joy drives in a nice location while not being in a gargantuan RV. Sometimes Charlie’s takes are just headass.
Two years later I've realized why I thought it's a crazy idea. I live in Europe. I don't need an additional car when camping. You usually just drive (or take public transport) there, build your camp, and that's all. You no longer have to drive anywhere. You can walk or, again, use public transport It's such an American invention
As a contractor... most of my living is out of an rv. And my wife still uses a personal vehicle. So an rv that can house a vehicle is actually really convenient lol.
I can see the appeal of having a "mini garage", as people typically do tow cars behind their RVs and what not. That said, that garage appears to be very small, so you're pretty limited on what types of vehicles you're going to take. So if you're going anywhere that might require a more "rugged" vehicle, you're probably out of luck unless you bring an ATV or a motorcylce.
1:45 supercar gas is expensive and tires and oil and other things you gotta change that's why you dont drive them. like if you're going to an event that has buggati chirons this would be perfect then you don't need a transport company you can have a safe space for the car and a comfy place to sleep
And yes this would help with gas efficiency you're driving a house with another car that uses prolly just as much gas instead of using 2x as much Gas like I gotta tow 2 trailers My rv and my dirt bikes my friend has a toy hauler and can park his bikes inside his rv we both have 2022 trucks and he gets better mileage he doesn't need to tow 2 trailers
supercars aren’t that comfortable on long distances, but they are perfect for roaming and exploring a new city, so you do the distance in the rv and the exploring in ur car
Everytime I hear “automatic” when it comes to vehicles or houses I instantly think “something that’s going to break after owning it for a month” (When I say “automatic” I’m not talking about a cars transmission. I’m talking about things that are electronically motorized. The reason I didn’t say that was because I didn’t think I would have to be that specific smh.)
@@zipy4900 that depends on who you ask but I tend to agree. Less room for human error. Newer automatics suck though. 2:12 as we all learned in Breaking Bad, this is the ultimate getaway RV/car combo. After you commit a crime, you load into the RV, call it a home and require police have a search warrant to enter the RV.
As someone who go camping with motor homes a lot, I can explain why this motor home exists. You don't drive this motor home for transportation of your car lol. Imagine you're in Paris for a week and live in your motor home. If you wanted to go to disney land, the store or any other sight seeing place you would either take a taxi or the bus. With this motor home, you can drive your car wherever you wanted to go. Motor homes are stationary when they have settled down.
I think the reasoning is that you store your car so you don't put excess miles on it. And then when you get to your destination, you use the car for local travel, and park the RV somewhere. Idk just a thought
i do actually thing the second idea wouldn't be bad if it had a way to keep the mother cycles up, put your bikes and motorcycles in the bottom garage, since those are something you would have a use for camping also imagine trying to line up the car with the steel floor, sounds annoying to deal with
Charlie it doesn’t have to be a super car it’s so you can bring a car when your travelling so you don’t have to drive the motor home to the store or something. It’s just so you have another vehicle that’s not huge along with you
This RV is a legitimately good deal. Luxury MotorHomes range from 100k to 1 mil anyway. This is a sick design depending on the room inside after loading a car. It's not about flexing the car, it's about taking scenic drives whole on Long range trips.
I love that Charlie almost intentionally blocks his brain from any legitimate justification for it like idk, taking your car to a track day or something.
Taking the car with you is actually pretty handy. IDK how this works in the US, but in Europe we go to a camping park and put our tents/caravans/RVs there for several days or even a few weeks. Taking a car means you won't have to pack everything up and drive the RV any time you want to go to a town nearby, you can just take the car.
I actually found the interior very comforting because it reminds me of my grandpa’s house and I have a lot of good memories there lol. But it was clearly made for old men with a shitton of money so it makes sense

No one wants to drive a giant bus to the store and leave a campsite when your all set up to just restock, travel and sight see , etc. it is brilliant. They are usually called toyhaulers
That garage is arguably the least bizarre thing here. Hell... As a motorcycle rider myself I sure as hell would't mind an easy way to bring my kawa with me. Along with tools and spare parts because that garage would handle it with loads to spare.

The idea isn't really unique, in Australia you'd just tow the car behind the camper.
@@crispyjelly2485 I’ve seen that a few times, however would you really want a luxury car being towed like that?
And they can drive the car to their hotel
I don't know about parking it outside a city but there are a lot of old people that like camping so it makes a lot of sense for some rich old dude to spend this much. I think it's not really the biggest feature but just a nice add on to justify spending a few hundred thousand more. Everything inside looks great tbh.
@@crispyjelly2485 If you're rich enough you wouldn't want a tow bar on your supercar, no matter how small you could get one to be.
The garage is actually really practical. A lot of the time when my family goes camping, we bring an extra vehicle in case we need to run into town and get food, drinks, firewood, etc. We don't wanna lug the whole RV there just to bring it back and hook it up again. We'd have to store all our stuff again.

This actually seems very useful for extended road trips. Drive the motorhome to wherever you want to go, and take the car to explore the surroundings.

The fuck is a track day

6:57 RV for your fam and a RV for your ant farm
Taking the car with you is actually pretty handy. IDK how this works in the US, but in Europe we go to a camping park and put our tents/caravans/RVs there for several days or even a few weeks. Taking a car means you won't have to pack everything up and drive the RV any time you want to go to a town nearby, you can just take the car.
Imagine stealing what you think is a regular motor home and finding a 3 million dollar super car under it
I actually found the interior very comforting because it reminds me of my grandpa’s house and I have a lot of good memories there lol. But it was clearly made for old men with a shitton of money so it makes sense
2:08 “saves you gas” then don’t use a car that has such expensive gas lol. im so glad Charlie I’d actually normal unlike some people lol
A lot of people aren’t realizing such a simple thing: an enclosed car trailer. The car storage system on this alone probably costs $100k, while a nice enclosed car trailer would cost around $30k or less.
It was sick enough to make me forget those exist tbh
Yeah but then you gotta learn how to tow a trailer, and do you really trust someone to tow a car trailer and drive a 20+ ton bus at the same time?
@@raptorjesus3894 Yeah, Ive seen people towingtheir car behind the RV. I was stressed just towing a small pontoon boat behind my normal car, I cant imagine driving a bus like that AND towing something behind that. Besides, Id constantly worry that the trailer or the car or whatever detached and then youre out your 30K trailer and your car.
@@jacobhayes9067 towing a small trailer is pretty easy, backing up takes a bit of learning, but i'd be much less worried about that than about hitting a big bump or taking a sharp turn and the car flies around inside my $1,000,000 rv and smashes the shit out of the walls and chasis
"supercars' gas costs a lot of money"
bro can afford a super car but can't pay for its gas
If someone is rich enough to afford this abomination, I refuse to believe they're not hiring someone to drive this for them
These weren't that bad

No one wants to drive a giant bus to the store and leave a campsite when your all set up to just restock, travel and sight see , etc. it is brilliant. They are usually called toyhaulers
"Something about being really high is it just makes it really fun". I'm guessing the RV is 4.20 meters tall?
It’s not just for bringing your supercar around, it’s to bring your car around, and a supercar fits in the compartment.
That garage is arguably the least bizarre thing here. Hell... As a motorcycle rider myself I sure as hell would't mind an easy way to bring my kawa with me. Along with tools and spare parts because that garage would handle it with loads to spare.
Lol I was going to buy one of those but decided to buy a taco truck instead!
Now that’s funny 😆

The super car part is because they want it to be a jigsaw puzzle so you get a reward after it
"This looks like grandma's kitchen"
Bruh. Despite being a million dollars there is no kitchen.
Given how expensive it is, I feel they either only made it to where you gotta pay to have a special kitchen model, or just is meant for you going to restaurants.
Like I feel this is for on tour stuff not camping, though people just bring stove tops that are gas powered on most camping trips anyways, they probably just wash in the bathroom
"Peg, ya don't need a kitchen, it's got a built in gas grill"

My family has a camper and we've seen a lot of RV's. Some really cool ones have matching trailers that fit a car, I'd rather have that and save $500K on the RV

“And for our next motorhome we’ll design it like a rolls Royce interior, with a full diamond ceiling.”
I have Valkner on backorder. It's actually a mega vehicle that has a slide out for the regular size one, and yes the super car is inside of that one.
I think its for those people who want to drive their cars around scenic locations but dont want to put a shit ton of miles on it just getting to their destination. They can take this along with their car out to somewhere nice, take the car out, enjoy the drive then put it back without putting a lot of miles on it
Instead, they put a shit ton of miles on a 2 million dollar RV
Correct

1:02 This is literally the doom RV that Jim Carrey had in Sonic the Hedgehog.
It even has the smaller vehicle inside.
imagine falling asleep in the back of a car and you wake up inside the back car hole of that second RV, fuckin entombed with no escape
this is honestly really cool and interesting, i just think that for marketing they should have used a couple atvs or dirt bikes instead of a super car
nah, because you don't care about atvs or dirt bikes getting dirty being on an open truck. A supercar on the other hand is really expensive to get detailed, so it makes sense if you have money to burn.
@@nayber2352 I would have just used the atvs or bikes to widen the target audience instead of it being to niche you know? could make it look like it's for a more sleek look and you could say it's safe because it won't fall out, but ig your right they could just be targeting richer individuals. I'm not even gon lie I'd take a loan to get this and rent it out for a couple hundred dollars in a high tourist destination in the US or Europe
The intention of the storage is to preserve mileage on the supercar when traveling in style probably. Super rich car enthusiasts and collectors barely ever drive their cars
1:25 because some people want to do “poor” people stuff but without the being “poor” part 😂
I'd just put a jacuzzi in the Bugatti compartment. The water probably also helps to balance the sway of the winds on the autobahn.
They're rather silly when it comes to the actual usefulness and purpose of them, but at least it's a small step closer to having a real life Batmobile
