hey dude, so im using XY and i know how to do the pokemon colours and everything, but is there any way i can edit item sprites e.g. Charizardite X or Life Orb, ive tried a/0/9/4 and a/0/9/7 and it hasnt worked
+MrMRiding hm you know I don't know I never tried it could be possible I know in my mod I edited the pokeball colors but when I remade the romsfs it was still the same ball in game
ThePokemonFan huh, i was gonna give changing pokeball colours a go so ill see if it works for me, the Items area where the sprites are meant to be is all wierd, theres like 579 bclim files but none of them look like items, aparently its a "montage" according to the github list with the Pokemon X romfs a file thingy

just wandering the game(XY in my case) is around 1.5 GB or soemthing and most of that is the file that has all pkm models and textures, but when i extract a/0/0/8 (127KB) i only get one file(0.darc), but a/0/0/7 (1.016.816KB) seems to be a lot bigger so i assume that for XY i need to use a/0/0/7 ?

Can I do this that one Pokemon is red bulbasaur and other is normal?
Pressing Ctrl, Alt, Shift did nothing and still unpacks as 147, 150 files. Are you meant to press and hold them as you are dragging the file over to garc tool, when it's processing? When? Not very clear, even in the notepad readme, just says to hold them and not when.....
+Jake Garside you just hold it when your exacting the file named 8 for the first time using Garc tools and shoulf make the folder lile always but instead of the original files you get you get.bin files
I've tried pressing ctrl, alt, shift as I drag it over and as I press process. I've tried pressing and holding before I press process and during the entire process, still no luck :(
+Crazy Cat Lady you need a pc to get homebrew and abd a system not on 11.0 update or if on that version than a copy of ocarina of time, smash bros or cubic ninja and than you can google for homebrew tutorials since there everywhere and follow that then once dine and you get HB you need a homebrew program called braindump and than in this vids description the link to download has almost all what you need to do this
Like I mentioned on my other comment the GARCTOOLD application does work guess the standard garctool is outdated now for sum random reason thanks for your reply just need to get Ohana to work properly now then I'm in business having a few problems with the direct X on windows 8.1 so have just installed Windows 10 to see if I can get the newer version of direct X so hopefully Ohana will run properly 😎
+James Sturt direct x was my only problem i ever had i finally got ohana working on 8.1 of Windows but i updated to 10 cause it wouldn't stop asking me xD also for ohana for a future reference stick with the one in the Hack pack cause ohana rebirth doesn't really work correctly like it should
Cool was just curious as I have tried to install direct X 12 and I think the Windows 10 does actually come with it but the graphics card on my step daughters laptop can't update further then 11.2 which is a bummer as Ohana needs direct X 12 to run so basically I'm screwed until I try with my laptop as it has radion graphics so should handle the update better fingers crossed thanks again will update you when I finally work it out lol 😎

at 16:00, when you have to use the ctrtool command line again, do you use it on the exact same file as the first one or on the new one you've created?
