He has amazing artistry. However, he will end up like Jason Brown if he keeps being scared of the quads. Look at the top 4 at the 2019 World Championships. They all did at least 3 of them. Camden should be capable of doing a quad because girls are doing them. Just work on the quads if you want to win a medal at Worlds or the Olympics or there will be no future for you too. Jason should really just do show skating because he is only taking a spot on our team for guys that can actually win a World or Olympic medal.

He just showed up to my clubs Spotlight on Ice (second year in a row) he was able to do his quads and triples. In fact he is the one making me do better on my doubles with his help and tips. He has the skill, he has the mentality to do whatever he sets his mind too. He skates how he skates and if he feels uncomfortable with quads then he doesn't you don't push yourself or else you get injured (like I did myself and just built myself up).

@@jessicamhunter5906 Glad to hear he is working on quads. At the 2019 WTT, all of the 12 skaters did at least 1 quad in their short. It's just a necessity nowadays. Little girls are doing them and it looks like you need at least a triple axel in the ladies event to win gold at the next Olympics or maybe even need it to win a medal now in the Olympics. We just don't want to see Camden end up like Jason Brown. You just can't be scared of attempting quads in your programs for competitions. Jason is trying to play catch-up and now it's becoming too late for him. We don't see Jason going far because he was too concerned with doing a clean program and not making mistakes with a quad and now doesn't know how to do a quad in competition and can't compete with the best in the world in the seniors now. Good luck Camden with your quads!

Figure Skating Little girls are doing them because they are over half a turn pre-rotated with a full blade “pick” and are able to rotate fast. Camden and the other men have the bodies of MEN; if he wants to do them (which he can) consistently and for a long time, he should not do what those little girls are doing.

For me, Jason Brown is really capable to win a medal without Quads in other competitions like USNats (He won Bronze this year). But I do agree if you want to keep up with the elites on top now who's going to clash in Worlds and Olys, they do need Quads atleast three in their roster

@@youlikethischainits3dollar157 Yes, we agree with you for Nationals and any other competition that doesn't have the top world skaters. So yes, we agree with you that he can win a medal for sure and even gold. However, we and someone else that we communicate with who has way more knowledge in figure skating than we do even though we've watched this sport for decades said that Jason will be taking a spot on the World and Olympic team. This spot can go to another up and coming skater that has potential to win an Olympic and World medal in the future. Both of us don't agree that he doesn't deserve the spot, but the spot could go for another skater that can do quads and can possibly win a future Olympic or World medal.
Don't get us wrong. Jason is an amazing skater, but he's a show skater. He has no potential to win an Olympic or World medal currently. He needs others to make mistakes to win. We also feel Bradie and Mariah Bell and Karen Chen don't have any potential currently to win an Olympic or World medal. American single skaters except for Nathan, Vincent, and Alysa are the only ones that have that potential now. We even felt that Amber Glenn could have gone to Worlds this year because Karen or Mariah wouldn't be able to team up with Bradie to get total results equalling 13 for us to send 3 skaters to the Olympics and next year's Worlds. They could surprise us, but we don't think so. We felt bad for Amber. However, the ISU might change the rules so we might get lucky. Unfortunately, we feel Camden will be just like Jason. He shouldn't have backed down on the quads like Jason who said I'll do it next year every single year. Even Kristie Yamaguchi back in 1992 was training a triple axel. Miki Ando back in the 90s and even Sasha Cohen in the 90s as well were practicing the quads. Also unfortunately, Camden came at a time when there are multiple quads. Even women are doing quads now. We love Camden, Bradie, Mariah, and Karen; however, they don't have potential to win a World or Olympic medal unless the top skaters in the world mess up badly. The international judges also won't reward us or will prevent us from winning one with the forementioned skaters. Alysa will also have to shine in the GP events in the fall to even have a shot for a medal, but she might have lost her triple axels and quads from what we heard. Anyways, good luck to all of the Americans and we support you all.
