- After President Trump signed an executive relating to transgender health care, families across the state are grappling with the impact. One Boulder family, fearful for their safety and access to care, spoke about their struggles.
The title makes it sound like they were scrambling to get care for CANCER or a a HEART TRANSPLANT. I can't believe parents would allow surgery like this. Ridiculous.

Then help the child with the mental aspect because we know that 70-85% of children who think they’re Trans, grow out of that belief and the disphoria if they’re allowed to go through normal puberty.

Because someone who is transgender may have had to go through a transition due to being born intersex, and assigned a visible sex at birth, then the government has no business nor reason to go with the doctor’s best estimation as the only correct answer.
They wanted to get body altering surgery and hormones. They can pay for it. It's not the job of taxpayers to pay for body modifications

A large part of the costs come from the insanely inflated prices of procedures, medicines and hospital fees, all of which are not disclosed upfront, preventing consumers from shopping around. The actual profit margin percentages from insurers are not that high by comparison. The profit margins of insurance companies in the US is typically only around 3-6%. Their premiums are high as a result of costs theyre required to cover, not “greed”.

This poor child, age 16 and on blockers for years per the father. Started so young. Let the children live through childhood, puberty and psychotherapy. Then, when an adult do whatever they want. I went to one of the best colleges in the United States in Jackson, Mississippi. It is ranked 64th out of about 1600 colleges here. I could transfer directly to Oxford, England. Many of the State colleges in the South are also well respected. And you don't need a degree to be smart. We have done more with less than anywhere else in the country.
