I just discovered you late 2023- the first song I heard was 'Jolt' and oh my goodness!! Dude!! 🙌🙌🙌 your music, style, voice, talent is outstanding & 'otherworldly ' to me. Today I'm listening to your playlist I created on Deezer & realised I had no idea if this was a band or solo artist, what you look like, what the videos (I watch a LOT of mvs every day) are like. So I finally checked you out & woah!! One guy!! Seriously?? One guy makes these amazing songs with a voice that sounds like it's from another dimension!? Anyways, the first vid I've clicked on is this...and u say about escaping into Maga/anime to get through those tough times & that made me need to put this comment! I'm C-PTSD, Anxiety, Depression diagnosed & I wrote in my journal in November that the song that can describe how I felt all month is 'Jolt'. My son moved out early Nov & has cut contact cos he needs to process the trauma of when my truth was exposed (by my bro) about being a survivor of CSA and my father was taken to trial & then prison. It was awful for us all & my son was 9ys then (now 19) so he said he needs to process how that affected him & by having cut contact to do that my heart is literally more broken than it's ever been, I've been in Anxiety attack since, and I didn't know how I could get through or live with the fact my own son is lost to me. I wished to be free of the pain & 'Jolt' struck a chord (pardon pun) cos the idea of being able to just erase my memory to not feel pain anymore was so appealing. Since then I've listened to more of your songs & I absolutely love 'Fragile skin of me' and 'Tremor' amongst others. Also I have spent these 2 months whilst unable to function or go out- escaping into other worlds as I have done since a child to be able to get through this reality. Now I have yours to check out!! 🙌😀 Just wanted to let you know you are saving me through the most difficult time of my life- and that's no easy feat considering how pretty horrific it's been since I was born into trauma.
