My Dad loved this song. When me and my sibling where born he was so proud... Him and I listened to it together a lot. And he’d brag about how happy he was... He passed away recently and this was playing at his funeral... I stood over his open casket kissing on the cheek as this song played in the background.... I miss my Dad. No one understands how much he hurt himself just for the sake of our happiness... My dad was my world... My everything.

When I was born my dad always said if anything ever happened to him he wanted this played at his funeral for me. He passed away in 2003 when I was 2. My mom always played this song and told me that story but I never understood until I got older. This song means more to me that anyone will ever know 🖤

Some days ago,like a month being exactly i found a video of my dad and me when i was like 6 years old, now i have 13, in that video there is a song at the back, and he is crying, so i start to research, looking for the song, so i asked my mother, she tell me the name of this song, but the point is my father died 5 years ago and well when i understand the lyrics of the song i just fall in cry, cause this was the song he dediacde me cause i am his first son, now everyday i hear this song daily, i dont know, it just lets me imaginate him again with me.

Fast forward a couple of years, my son was young, my daughter arrived , and this song appeared. I get the same feeling each time I hear it as when I wrote to my grandmother telling her all about her new great grandson.

Everytime she was upset, or going through a emotional breakdown, I would always give her a hug, and start singing the song in my own way because I didn't remember the lyrics when I was younger.
It would always put a smile on her face.
But on October 10th, 2012. She passed away from liver failure. My dad asked me what song we should play at her funeral. And I chose this song.
It was very hard continuing through life without her by my side, being there when I really needed her. But she always has been. She's always with me in my heart.
Now whenever I get depressed, or have a emotional breakdown, I play this song, and just cry. She always told me "its ok to cry." And it is.

I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw! Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO!
