I just missed you guys at the Riviera! I saw Brennan, Katie and Ryan’s stories on Instagram 2 days after I got home and it honestly just melted my heart (because I just missed seeing you guys, and I miss Disney and the Riviera so much! -> so thankful I’m a DVC member!). And like when you guys were at the Contemporary watching the MK fireworks -> it’s so beautiful! -> I miss it so much! So happy y’all had an awesome time ❤

Timeshares are almost never a good financial decision. DVC might be the exception. With any timeshare the most important factor is you have to be able to use it for the entire length of the contract. Our lives change a lot over the length of these contracts. Another major consideration is the dues and how much they may increase over the life of the contract. It may get to the point where the dues are higher than the vacation is really worth. That probably won't happen with DVC. There is a decent resale market for DVC shares unlike most timeshares that can be picked up for nearly nothing. Plus, the perks that come along with DVC membership add a lot of value. I also believe that Disney will maintain their properties better than most other operators. Plus, they have the point system, so you don't have to stay at the property you originally bought.

I love the Donnelly's but honestly, sometimes it's hard to watch a family that has absolutely everything go perfectly for them when your constantly miserable, your life is basically a tragedy, and you just lost your father barely a month ago... I'm torn as to whether this video will make me happy or sick on the inside...
Remember we only see like 10 min edited video couple times a week. You never know what people’s life is really like from social media.
Sorry for your loss but just keep that in mind
@AaAa-qq5wr oh I agree with that 100%. But when you see someone go on a vacation the day AFTER their other vacation, and they go on a vacation every other month, a very, very small fraction of people are that lucky.

I am so sorry for your loss and i completely understand how you feel and often felt this way myself. I realize you did not ask for advice but I want to share anyway, I have been working on trying to feel less jealous or resentment of how other people may be able to live because of their circumstances that may seem more fortunate than mine, but rather trying to find joy in where I am in life. They won’t get to experience the same joys, friendships, and relationships in life that I do, like I won’t experience theirs. A change in perspective is incredibly difficult but it has certainly helped me a lot. I wish you the best and lots of healing to overcome this difficult time. ❤ please reach out if you need a friend.
