most important of this video is the detail on how easily it is to give good pit service as Erik demonstrated. Talking through everything and still giving 8 seconds or so pit service. Accurate, smooth and quick service is what we should strive for when pulling targets for our fellow competitors. Several key procedures he demonstrated: how to be prepared with pasters on your hand and ready. The other is to key in on a spot so you know where to be looking when you pull the target down to the pits. He already had a plan where to look... Smoothly changed the shot marker, pasted and scored... Smoothly returned the target in the air. When it is windy on some cantilever targets is maybe required for pit folks to simply hold the target as steady as possible so the target is not dipping for the shooter. Thanks for demonstrating this smooth process, EC! nicely done...

Love these videos. I’m about an hour from the range, and I was wondering how y’all were doing with the weather. There was a big PRS match in Navasota the same weekend. Bet that was fun too!

Yes
So he's not using an ejector, which means his brass is setting on the bolt, and not pushing on the shoulder. This changes the whole internal ballistic dynamics.
