Dream hunt would be Austin or Colton guiding my father and I on a any legal weapon bull elk/Deer hunt here in Utah. My father used to take me when I was younger and we never could lock one down. He's getting older and I would love to share a memory tagging one together.
Congrats on a great bull he's amazing. Dark antlers, mass, wide and beam length!! Not one to pass up for sure. Wish we had more like him, unfortunately the state has really screwed up our herds.
3 week Iowa rut hunt, last week of October n 1st two weeks of November! Or September rut hunt in the top Elk destinations with a bow as well. Id give anything. My dream is to move to Iowa and do exactly what Wade does. He is up there close to some of my top idols like Lee Lakosky, Andrea D'Acquisto, and Adam Hayes! I would give anything to find an older farmer out there in Iowa who could give me a job for like $15 an hr helping him farm, and then work out a hunting lease for hunting and filming deer. Ive made poor decisions in my life but if given the opportunity i know something like that would change my life. Im extremely depressed and lonely, but I dont feel that way when I think about deer hunting. I feel like God is telling me this is what i need to do in order to be happy in this life. Its really the only thing that motives me to do better! Maybe one day ill get that opportunity!
The quakies are super decieving but there was Spanish and Indians all thru here long ago. theres tons of cool rock and tree drawings if you Look up Utah Uintah basin indian or Spaniards if your into that stuff. i live here and its one of my favorite things to see!
You don't, always keep it on hand. You never know when/where elk might pop out. Hunting otc isn't near as exciting as the video portrays but I've almost been ran over on the main trail in, twice in the past 4 years
I’ve been hearing some very disturbing things about Utah lately from longtime friends/hunters in Utah being pushed out of tags because of the social/influencer fad. Preferential treatment for a jackass with a camera is plain BS. If it’s true then shame on all of them involved.
the draw doesnt know who has cameras and who doesnt. You are just seeing more stuff online because there are more people taking cameras into the woods with them than there were before. Its the same people in the woods as before and it'd be the same people in the woods even without the cameras.
@@RossCiprianothis is fenced off property owned by the church. They sell the bull tags for 20k each and harvest around 250 cows a year. It’s literally a zoo. Utah gives private lands and auctions preference. They always hold tags that should go to the draw but they don’t. They are reserved for highest bidder
@@mmorris6341 I know- I live 30 miles from this ranch. They just culled 170 and kept it hush from the public. story just came out. They hold extra tags to sell. X amount goes to land owner depending on herd size and depending on that number public gets to draw. For the 170 that just was culled " hush hush" some would have gone to public draw. I know all about this place- and what next "UA-cam star" is hunting what week.
What is your dream hunt?? Comment below!👇
Definitely an archery elk hunt during the rut! Always had a spot in my heart for those bugling bulls!!
Awesome job on the video as normal the snow is just breath taking
