@@seventyfive4169 Please don't worry. With all your remixes you have been so convincing. It is like any record of Kate's, I never approached them with a critical angle. I just knew I would be in for a thrill. Time after time. The same goes here.
The problem with the DVD is that it is in fake stereo: two mono channels left and right, one of which is slightly delayed. It does give a more spacial feel, but to me it sounds a bit off. I've used the mono audio from the original BBC broadcast, separated the vocals and different instruments, and recombined them in order to create a more natural stereo sound. And I removed the applause at the beginning and the end. (Well, the clever apps I use did.)
It's from the video of the 1979 "Kate Show", also known as the Christmas Special. And I separated, cleaned up and then recombined the instrumental and vocal parts.
Well done Some of those old recordings are in very bad nick and weren’t that great to begin with. Can it really be 79? Doesn’t seem that long ago really.
such a pleasure to hear these songs "cleaned"

I know what you mean. It doesn't exactly feel like yesterday, but 45 years? Nah. Anyway, thanks again, James.
