I'm just happy tom see Danhausen is still wrestling at least somewhere. I was starting to wonder for a while there.
Same
I was really excited when Danhausen joined AEW. They haven't done anything with him. What a waste.
@@perceivedvelocity9914 Same here! I was really hoping it would be his big break.
He's been injured a lot
@perceivedvelocity9914 i dont mean it as rude or as he doesn't deserve to make it big but i feel he belongs with the independent scene where he has the freedom to really express himself and be funny
Nice! Thank you for the upload. I love both these guys, so this was a sunday morning treat for me.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I legit love the fact that people sell "the curse".
11:42 That was buttery smooth, damn.
Nice camerawork, this was a awesome match to watch. Thank you
That's what they mean by telling a story in the ring. Danhausen has his knee hurt early on, Angel kept going back to hit and hurt it. Dan could barely stand on, now a lot of times this will happen and wrestlers forget to sell the injury. Even after it was over he was still grabbing that knee..
The thing about the Danhausen persona for me is that it was at its best when ROH (Sinclair era) did it's TV tapings behind closed doors during Covid. Just give it some thought - they're in the studio, no fans in there and yet Danhausen seemingly just dovetailed in that scenario. He was the equivalent of Count Floyd (Rest in peace and Vale - Latin for Good Night - Joe Flaherty BTW). I was pleased as punch for Danhausen when he debuted on AEW Dynamite after getting offered the contract but in all honesty, he was always going to find things in front of arena crowds an uphill struggle. That's not to say, mind you, that he wouldn't have made a success of it at Daly's Place during that period of the pandemic -perhaps he could have even pulled it in the Thunderdome period in WWE. He certainly would have killed it as far as I'm concerned if he had been offered a development contract and then they flew him across to this side of the pond to appear on NXT UK in the BT (now TNT) Sports TV studio.
Textbook match. Should be studied by all wrestling students. Kudos to Angels selling the curse and attempting to use the teeth. Great finisher and kudos once again to Angels for trying to find his own teeth on the mat after the match. Great pairing. I would love to see more of these two together. Love that Danhausen.
I haven't talked to him in over a year, but I was the original "tooth guy" for Donnie. Tried to help whenever I could while he was coming up... I always knew he'd get over once he had an audience. I was not wrong. I hope to see him show up soon, maybe with his buddy Egon...
Fact is AEW pushed Marko Stunt alot more than they ever have Danhausen
Sell more with less moves. This is how wrestling should be!
DANHAUSEN!!!!!! 🦷 🧛🏻♂️
I miss seeing both of these guys on tv regularly. I get that AEW has grown but you cant tell me that Danhausen wouldnt pop ratings EVERY time he was on if you advertised his matches upfront and hinted he's lurking everywhere all the time and popping up in the background of various other stars interviews and such. Guy CAN actually wrestle pretty well despite the flak he catches for being "just a gimmick".
Alan Angels sold that cure with that trip on the ropes.
Danhausen be my friend!!!
Very nice, veeeeeeeeeery evil.
Very nice! (Very evil)
Good crowd!
Danhausen is why I got my teeth numbered in case of emergencies.
Angels pinned by a demon...hmmmmmm...whats with the one wing, bro?
I guess he's the one winged Angel? I'm sure that's not used anywhere? Lol
3:02 WRESTLING!
😮😮😮
Very very evil
Danhausen sucks
