Thanks for posting this! I grew up in the area and worked as a chambermaid there as a teen. Never saw a ghost though!
Hey Joel, glad you enjoyed the video. What a cool job, you must know the place inside and out! It's reassuring to know that you never saw a ghost. Thanks so much for watching, wishing you all the best!
great review jonathan.. Concord looks like a great little town looks like a nice mix of historic charm with a nice little vibrant flare with coffee shops and such. glad you didn't have any ghosts during your stay looking forward to the next review
Thanks for watching! They've done a great job bringing this hotel up to modern standards while keeping the historical charm intact. Highly recommend the Colonial Inn!
Enjoying your random collection of videos. Really like the hotel reviews.
Thanks so much for watching, randomjrr! Glad you're enjoying the videos!
Walk to the Cheese Shop down by the post office. I loved growing up in Concord but I miss New London Style Pizza and the Cheese shop. I hate that they lost the Country Store that was just a door down from the Inn.
Thanks so much for watching, Dan! This was my first trip to Concord and loved the Inn and downtown. Too bad about the Country Store, but happy to see that Concord still has mostly independent shops. Is New London style pizza more like NY style, or its own thing?
It is it's own thing but close to Greek but not very greasy. I always get the small pizza as that is what I got as a kid. That or a toasted tuna sub. The Cheese shop has a yummy cheddar blue spread and you can ask for recommendations or a taste. Great people!
I was at the minuteman national park up the road and saw a ghost of a man in a red colonial outfit.
He was standing at the john nelson house.
So many stories of triumph and tragedy in Minuteman National Park, you're lucky to have had such a memorable experience! Thanks so much for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it, Red Cloud. Wishing you a great summer!
I was at the Colonial Inn 3 times. The first 2 times I got sick and had nausea. The third time after eating dinner my face turned red, I had a fever, I perspired so bad my clothes were soaked, and had nausea. I told my girlfriend we have to leave now. As soon as I walked out the door and was across the street I felt fine. It was definitely paranormal activity.
Hey Michael, thanks so much for sharing your experience! If there are ghosts, they were friendly to me....despite the odd creaking noise in the middle of the night (but that's to be expected when the hotel dates back to 1716.) Let me know how the fourth visit goes, wishing you all the best, I appreciate the comment!
