Here's a video tour of my craft closet in my new home! I loooove how this space came out. It took awhile to setup (mainly because I was trying to come up with new ideas), but I'm happy with the end result. My favorite part of the closet is the tension rod (which, by the way, was $2.97 at Walmart!) that holds and contains the ribbon. The ribbon is now super easy to pull and cut!

Alejandra! This is an amazing vid! I always learn stuff in your vids that I can apply, but I had a coupl e major moments here-- first, the AMAZING storage pieces. Then hello! Hanging the hanging fabric, paint swatches & remnant ribbon is genius, but I can't believe I didn't think of it! And I've always thought about doing the bar for ribbon, etc but a cheap tension rid never occurred to me! Can't wait to show this to my mom! She needs the help!

Omg I love your tips thank you! And as for myself I fold my material nicely, roll it small as I can than olace it in one of them shoe holders that hang in the closet... Works well I can see every colour which I have lots of by the way lol
thank you for the idea of the shelves in the closet!!!! I am using my guest room as a temporary office and the closet is standard contractor size. This will really really help with storage and create some MUCH needed space in here! :D

Awesome!! The newest thing I came up with for organizing pencils and pens is a CD RACK I found at Value village!,its WOODEN and holds 2O CD'S each of the compartments are totally separate so they are like little shelves.On each shelf I colour coded my pencils,pens,pencil crayons,markers,and highlighters! You can lay it down so they are like shelves or stand it up so that its like little square cup holders if you like.This would also be awesome for ribbons on a roll,stamp pads,cards,a mail sorter
That was impressive; I especially liked the tension rod and duct tape ideas.

Very ingenious ideas! Gave me some ideas on how to organize my closet a bit better! Thanks so much for posting this! this by far is the most useful video I have found so far, though I am going to end up using a shoe organizer for my tools instead of what you have for gift bags and tags as they are not organized into my craft room space, at least I wasn't thinking about doing that but this made me think about it..

I dont know what its called but an acordian poly envelope works great for all those stickers..i have 2 for all my scrapbooking stuff. Works great because they are all in ONE envelope.

Hi Alejandra! What do you do when you get new crafting ribbons? You probably have to take the rod off the wall and then take everything off of it and then put everything back on it? Do you have an idea to avoid doing that each time I buy a new ribbon? :) Btw, I love your videos!! Thank you so much for sharing all your tricks with us! :)

I wish we had stores like that in Australia, the cheapest stores we have are the $2 store and reject shop, but they don't have much and all our office supply and craft stores, even stores like target are so expensive to the stores you have in the US :( everything here is like double the price:/
and since its a condo space, i dont have a room for like, arts and crafts like this one.. everythings all kind of in the living room!
I think it would get annoying to remove the tension rod every time you needed to replace some ribbon

At about 0:47, I saw what looked like colored paper inside open paper bins. Can u tell me what that is, please? I am having a hard time figuring out how to organize a lot of colored paper.
