Same with Toph she's a 12 year old as well plus blind but she's a strong strong woman or young lady.

Toph clinging to Zuko, Mai being shocked at Zuko's confirmation and everyone hugging Zuko.

You could tell before zuko got his burn on his face when he talked up during the meeting he was a good person he just wanted the best and cares about the state for the fire nation and for the people that lives in the fire nation
