We were there 3 years ago, it wasn't as such Butlins, we were there for we had a caravan, and I have to say those few days will live with us for a lifetime. I hope you have both enjoyed your time there as much as we did. We have stayed at the Butlins in Minehead, but that was 4 years ago and it was for the Spring Harvest event, it was truly amazing. Xx
Used to go there as a kid from about 1960 to 1966 and thought it was the best place on earth. Looks very different now but you two are obviously enjoying it as much as I did. Great video.
In my 15 odd years on UA-cam iv never watched a video this long but loved every minute of this, was planning on going with the Mrs and you guys went in depth and was great to see you having fun too. Lucky guy she does all the organising thats my job everytime 🤐🤐
I can’t believe the ladybird ride is still there, I remember my little sister riding it over and over again back in the mid 80s! All the little kids rides were grouped together in a kind of hanger then, along with the waltzers too. We used to spend hours in that area and I remember they used to have to shut the waltzers quite often to hose vomit off 🤢.

Christ, I was first here back in 79 on school trip for a week with the old format, then in 2018 with my family, looks like the gallapers has been moved to where the paratrooper was, the Waltzer is where the gallapers were. We liked the butler system and very helpful staff. We stayed in the first hotel you pointed to opposite the fair. Shame that the go karts are paying extra.
The last time I went to Butlins in Bognor was on a cub scout day trip, that skyline pavillion wasn't even thought about then 😂. Maybe 1989? Haha! Long time ago 👍🥳.
Going through UA-cam and came across this vlog. Just carnt believe how much butlins at Bognor Regis as changed. Use to work at butlins Bognor Regis in 1994 and 95. Wanna thank you for this video brings back memories even though it’s changed
Great review. I've been to Butlins Skegness for many years . Reluctant to try any others due to not having fantasy Island around the corner. Shame Skegness took away the rockin tug ride the kids loved that one.

When I worked there we had the Galloper horses repainted and the 3 of us engineers got a named horse each, Simon, Min and Gerry. I believe they are still on the ride.

Another amazing and interesting video, last visited Butlins when secondary school took us for a week. Amazing resort, funfair has had a lot of work done to it since our visit, but good to see new rides there. Do you think these parks could have rollercoasters added in especially Bognor Regis? If so, what types would you be interested in seeing? Because not sure at all, but just wondering what you would like to see added if possible? Maybe could have one going around inside "The Skyline"? Even if it comes in and has a large helix around entire centre area and then through doors goes out and into a few drops, climbs and more? I love how he says the waltzers are old because people who don’t know rides would just think there not looked after when in the fun fair community we call that wear and tear from all the riders

We always go to skegness butlins but it's lovely to see a different venue and the entertainment looks brilliant, can't wait us to go in August. Brilliant video
I haven't been to Butlins Bognr since I was a kid, last time 30 years ago!!! Awesome memories but the place is unrecognisable now. The apartment where you stayed are still standing from when I went!
Damn, got a legitimate pang through the heart at the Pleasure Island shout-out on the Trabant! It might not have been the biggest or most thrilling park in the UK, but as my local park which I spent many a happy visit at, it's definitely one that'll always be special to me.
That first ride looked like a cross between the Mulan ride and jumper rides. I don't like a lot of funfair rides either as they're too focused on spinning or too high but that one looks fun. I hate how much my fear of heights ruin things though cause I love some of the sensations esp with coasters but the climbs and pauses are too much. I need to go on more dark rides so that most of the slow climbs or high pauses are hidden lol
I tried the firehouse when I was in Minehead, the prices are on a par with Nando's, I had the Half Chicken with Habanero and for the sides Spicy Rice and Onion Rings, I was very pleasantly surprised with the food which was very good. I am sure that you will enjoy it.
Im going here for 4 days on monday im actually so excited i havent been here in 2 years last time i also saw stephen molehan And this time i get to see flur east !!
just loving these vlogs - but make sure you check out the disco lifts and ice cave in the ocean hotel (assume still there) - also for accommodation you need to be on the ocean top floor (7 ?) with sea view or the nelson suite with park view (other hotel)
Showing my age now but I got my swimming badges in their pool back in the 60’s and there were parrots hanging from the ceiling, does anyone else remember those days ?
I’m going there with 5 friends and 3 support workers on Monday until Thursday, it’s going to be my first break with them since I moved into my supported living flat in February
The spinning hat ride your talking is call a trabant and you’re correct you don’t see to many of them anymore. They started to make a comeback at one point i think six flags New England has one and a few other parks do Quassy Amusement Park has one to.
10:02 made me laugh, Charlotte's "that's great!" oozing with sarcasm 😂 I think she just wants to get off that bloody thing!

I’m obsessed with butlins and I stay in the ocean hotel or shoreline my favourite is ocean but they come with regular size towels
I miss Bognor Regis. Used to study at the Chichester Institute of Higher Education, Bognor Campus (so near to Butlin) in 1996-1998.
We always go to skegness butlins but it's lovely to see a different venue and the entertainment looks brilliant, can't wait us to go in August. Brilliant video

That's why Space Mountain at WDW is my favorite coaster. I can't see enough to be scared so I can enjoy it.
I went there for my 14th birthday in 2019 and I loved it there
They were called the Mexican Hat back in the 80,s used to be nearly at every fun fair.
Those rides were in existence in the 1970´s. The basic concept of that ride can be seen very much today. Instead you have cars turning.
