      You can be both, so long as the wife is responsible for the home, up keep and maintenance, while simultaneously owning a business and/or working outside the home. We are women who can do anything and everything at once or separately. When did you begin doubting yourself?

    I wish people would stop telling someone "You should get married." One has to meet someone who is a suitable marriage mate before one can get married. Otherwise, you have someone getting married for the sake of getting married and that is a terrible recipe that leads to much unhappiness or worse issues. I have seen too many "marry in haste and repent at leisure". Patience in choosing a marriage mate can bring much happiness.

      These stories are always so disjointed because they are not well thought out. I mean, did she seriously buy a house and then sign it over to her husband? How could he sell it if she bought it? How is it that these stories always have the same theme: the dude turns into a completely different person after they get married? The truth is that the victim wife is a big fat idiot if she had no idea what the guy was like before she married him! I mean she travels globally for her job, how is she this dumb in her personal relationships? None of this gels, and becomes inane and insulting.

      @Julia.Mandelbrot A housemaid is a person who takes care of house chores. A housewife is "a woman whose main occupation is caring for her family, managing household affairs, and doing housework, while her husband or partner goes out to work." And a woman who gets up everyday to go to a job and does all the homemaking also is either single or a doormat.

      Any married woman who does the house cleaning, cooking, laundry, is a housewife whether she has an outside job or not. My mother was a housewife. Anything to do with the running of the house she did. Car maintenance, lawn care, grocery shopping was my dad’s responsibility. Child care was done by both. Homework, baths, after school meetings, discipline were all shared between them. Both my parents worked outside the home also. This is why I laugh at the term “traditional housewife”. There were more working housewives than non working housewives. My mother, her six sisters, both grandmothers all worked outside the home and also took care of the home. What they call “traditional housewife” now was only in rich families and on tv.

    I don't like when someone says ," You should get married," when you're single and your buddies are getting married, I always thought that it was a sign of desperation just for the sake of getting married to make everyone shut up telling you that . If your "soul-mate " appears namaste , but , if you get a certain age , ( I'm 50 , but , I have a fiance , but , we're getting married in May this year ) . Sometimes , it takes a while to find you soulmate, but , even if he hadn't came into my life I'd still be cool because I know that my self-worth isn't wrapped up in another person , I'd rather be in a corner alone with a cat and a goldfish other than the one unhappy and miserable and wondering ,"What was wrong with me for hooking up with you ?. " Anyway , I'm sorry , I went on a tangent , I forgot this was an A1 story .

  • @JordynRaquelleKnight
    @JordynRaquelleKnight 14 днів тому

    I know mothers who work at home and an outside job , if you're cooking , cleaning , and working in or out of the house they're still considered housewives . And sometimes , they're single but have kids so they have to work inside and outside the home . I've also seen some that are married and still work and both take care of the kids , but , the only "traditional housewives " were the rich ladies like Mrs. Cleaver or Mrs . Cunningham or someone like that . Sorry to all of you housewives who stay at home , your job is just as important as everyone else's, and I know that a lot of new-age housewives also get paid for their work , too .

    Please stop pronouncing T's as D's... It doesn't only sound stupid, but it's also giving me an intense headache. It's impossible to listen to this, unless of course you are an American.

    Why in these stories the woman in their early 20’s climbing the corp ladder always hide away from life. The 1st man they met and fall in love only because their biological clock is running out. They never get to know the person until they marry then suddenly they find out they married a man child. Business woman or housewife 🤔 Lady you enabled your husband can’t stand your whining.

    I am not sure, and am not going to look it up, but it feels like it was written by AI.
    It's hard to listen to with the AI reading it too.
    the background image is nice though.
