Been to hyde, opera house etc park many times, i've lived near many of the beaches down to curl curl.
1 min in: perfect Sydders vid. Just - Being. Our light 💡: so lucid & bright.
No Martin statue that was cenotaph. Hyde Park is old aboriginal tribal justice ground where blokes would spear other. Ah St Mary’s Catho churcho
Never gets old - the Opera House.
Golden Gate

😅POSTIVE FOCUS
I hope you didn't get too sunburnt. I was thinking about it even before you went to the beach. Lovely video, reflects your personality☀. New sub.
Ahh thank you! No sunburn, lots of suncream 🤗
wow, you got the most iconic shot of Sydney, the bin chicken, aka, the ibis. and the oh and shb. Actually, quite a good vlog. Good onya, you have another sub. Make sure you are using 50+ sunscreen.
Haha thanks! Yes, always 50+ 👌
The Opera House is not dirty, the tiles alternate between white and off white. Imagine the glare if it were full white
It is dirty. she’s talking about the dirty concrete arches you see when looking end-on at the arches that support the tiled roof, not the tiles. When she says it, look at the aspect she is looking at in the video
You came to the wrong country if you don't like big things. 😂 We have plenty of big things all around Oz 😎
Bondi one of the worst beaches in Sydney, but each to their own..
We'd go to Manly, a beach we much prefer to Bondi. And you get the ferry ride there and back giving great views of the Harbour.
I prefer the calm of Brighton-Le-Sands with the longest strip of white sand beach.
I don't remember that we ever went there. It's quite a trip from here. And there's no ferry ride there.@@k.vn.k
Sydneysider here. Bondi is not one of my favourite beaches in Sydney either (there are many, many beaches to choose from located north and south of the harbour plus many beaches within the harbour itself) but that view of Bondi didn’t look too bad at the time the video was recorded. Low tide. There were however 2 big rip currents visible in the video that would rapidly take a swimmer well out to sea, so swimmers must make sure that they always swim between the flags and keep looking back to the shore and the flags to ensure that they have not drifted away from the flag area. Also, she needs to go easy on the sun baking as she could start burning after just 30 minutes without any sun protection.
You said you have been here for a month (staying quite close to Syd CBD?).... haven't read up on anything or checked on what you're actually seeing...ie War memorial, Marting Place ??
Not only is Bondi the worst beach in Sydney Id rate it as the worst beach in Australia. And there are around 30,000 of them. Get the ferry to Manly at least. Otherwise grat vid thanks.
You take away all the cliches and tourists and wanky locals it’s actually a very beautiful and terrific beach that I’d rate right up there. I love those NSW beaches with the headlands. But I also love the WA long beaches and the QLD southern and tropical ones.I’ve seen beautiful beaches in Tassie as well albeit a bit cold. Even VIC has a few like at Phillip Island and to the South of Melbourne. I love the South Australian beaches around the Peninsula and Ceduna …..great waves .Even NT beaches with their crazy tides and crocs have a unique charm. Perhaps you should try Bondi at sunrise…..glorious.
@@nevilleapple629 Have done many times as younger person. My granny lived very close, about 100 meters away. When visitiing every sunday we used to take a walk every day to see the mermaid statues on the rocks at the northern end which are long gone. Rode my first surf mat there. Moved to the Northen Beaches as a pre teen and lived there for 30 years. There are no beachs on the south side which have the local feel of those on the north. Or the Surf, or the shelter, or the access, or the personel space. Ive been all around Australia several times and your right there are hundreds of better beaches outside Sydney but Bondi is a horrible experience. Except for in the winter.
One of the smallest most crowded over rated beaches in Australia. Go to the northern beaches, south to Cronulla or an hour south to Wollongong which has probably the best two city beaches in Australia and countless empty beaches in its southern and northern suburbs.
Those statues were Australian WW1 soldiers , who were the fastest and most feared by the Germans . Dont be woke .
Shut up
The oly problem here is this woman is way too hip.
The dirty concrete it is most likely from pollution . When I visited the UK , the buildings looked dirty . I think this lady only saw Sydney and the Hunter Valley but saw more of New Zealand . I am going to watch her videos on New Zealand now .
Martin Place, home of the Reserve Bank of Australia, the RBA.
Good for you speaking up to that nasty guy.
Blimey!
I want to visit Sydney in early June. Love ❤️ from South Korea 🇰🇷
You should!
I hear that Tower Bridge in London is very iconic and famous 😊
Haha yes! How could I forget?!
Tower Bridge? never heard of it.
You are a cutie!!! I enjoyed your interesting video! Enjoy yourself! Be safe!
the bin chicken!
Being a bin chicken!
"It looks dirty". You're right. Why they don't do something about the grubby, grimy concrete is a mystery. As a Sydneysider I find it embarrassing.
I agree - I notice it on every video I see of the opera house - they would surely realise the impact it makes - it can’t be the cost given the attention it draws to Sydney so what is the reason?
Don't bother going to the Blue mountains any time soon. I took my daughter up there last week and most of the lookouts were closed as they are upgrading the roads to all of them. You can see the 3 sisters of course, but not much else. Anvil rock was close for example - the best view is all of Sydney!!! So If you've already been here a months and not do it by now, give it another month! I hope you enjoy your Stay in Sydney, Not all of us are total morons like th guys you met. Have a pleasant stay!
The Martin Place Christmas tree looks better at night lit up ... all the suburb trains in Sydney are double decker ... and you are right, back in the 1800'a the English named most Australia towns/parks after English places, not very imaginative. Be careful tanning, pale English skin will burn (trust me, I have English skin from my parents) and a good pair of sun glasses is good to wear when going out in the sun
That’s a great tip about the Christmas tree, I’ll have to go and see it one evening! Thanks for watching 🥳
@@KatTurner Little tip if you see the Martin Place tree in the evening: there's a little music show that plays on the half hour.
Just like they did in the USA. New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New London etc, etc. You will find it similar in Canada and New Zealand. Apart from all that I loved the enthusiasm, the smile and the joy expressed in the video. cheers
Love this style vid. Very fun to watch.
Yay, thank you!
Thank you for standing up to the bully. Making the world suck just a little less.
The Opera House was being set up for an outdoor concert - Dermot Kennedy.
I was there in 2013. Did almost the same walk as you did.I came down to the opera house through the parka above. Stoped to a street vender that sold a 5 dollar milkshake exactly at 9:43 if I remember it correctly 😅 Then to Bondi beach as well. Brings back nice memories. Have a nice trip 😃
ahh what a trip down memory lane! Thanks so much for watching :)
Hey Kat, nice to see your having a good time, welcome to our back yard. Um the sun can be pretty brutal, take care 😊
Thanks Andy!
Unfortunately in Australia it's a little bit of a sport to lay into shop assistant check out staff in grocery stores.
Golden Gate bridge pretty iconic as well!
Strong
Yes there are some crazy people in Sydney.. lucky you ain't driving becouse the roads are busy ..37 in Sydney today l think that's alot hotter than Melbourne its was hot n humid in Melbourne 2 days ago it felt like a hot humid day in Sydney..it's rarely humid in Melbourne..get some sunglasses and you tourists don't need to wear sandles or thongs or shoes on the sand..unless it's to hot for your feet.
You should’ve started it off with a drinking game whenever you mentioned ‘double entendres’😂
Brilliant!
Wooo thanks Dad!

Wooo thanks!!
@@KatTurner great vid You’re very welcome Kat
May I suggest that in Sydney you don't open your gob so far, it will let the files in. As a matter of fact I would say don't leave it gaping open like that anywhere, not only is it ugly, it is also a threatening pose, it looks like you want to eat someone.
May I suggest that you stop being a cvnt?
