Allegheny County executive Sara Innamorato is responding to public criticism from a Republican colleague about her new housing program meant to help the homeless. KDKA-TV's Ricky Sayer has more.

Unfortunately the statistics say that 67% of homeless people have some kind of mental issues affecting them. That doesn't mean that's the only reason they're homeless. Some of them have drug problems and others have alcohol problems. Similar to the George Floyd situation, because of their actions many times like Floyd, their family can't help them because of their own actions. It's difficult to get employment and services that you need when you have no address. Check back in the year and see how this worked out I have my doubts.
