Test drove it a few weeks ago and it was a really great car. I think it looks great and the seats are some of the best I have ever sat in. I think they did a fantastic job on this car.
i work in the cambridge corolla lexus plant. They do use a different paint process for the lexus line the line runs slower than corolla line and there are more paint inspections for lexus. Many times these reviewers have no idea how these cars are made or what's involved.
As a rc350 owner , don't think about it , BUY IT! Opinions vary but this car is amazing and handles great. Go for the f sport you won't be disappointed.
Zack, love your reviews. Not just this particular but overall, I have seen many car reviews and I must say, I really enjoyed watching yours. Very well informed and unbiased. Great job!
Styling wise, I find the IS more appealing. If only they make the IS wider, IMO it will be the clear winner between these two. I just hate that wedge shape of the RC, kind of looks like the SC430 and the Infiniti G coupe. Also, why is it so high off the ground, almost like the new pickups but not quite?
Great video I wish you could have test drove the rwd f sport model!!!! Mines arriving in March and it seems like everyone's getting / reviewing the awd model....thanks for some of the insight on it
@@marcussavina2726 they look similar.. and the new supra doesn't have a manual trans either.. as far as a fun sports car that won't break the bank, they new gr86 and subaru twin look like a good time but I digress
I just can't make myself like that front fascia... When it first came out I figured maybe it would grow on me. The styling inside, around the head unit, isn't very appealing either.. Then again I'm not the target buyer so, to each his own I suppose
Zack nice looking car, however, I would take an S5 or S4 over this. They are both great cars. I could buy a used one for much less than this car. Anyway keep up the great work/reviews.
If only it was faster....but it'll last till 300k miles and a sports oriented car with AWD so it has reasons to buy it but....if only it was half of a second faster. Lexus uses the same engine in the GS, IS, and this RC but this RC is the sportiest looking of the three cars but yet the slowest? 0-60 in 5.8 seconds compared to 5.6 in the IS and GS?? Yeah, it's only .02 seconds of a difference but it's the sportiest version, shouldn't it be the fastest one? Why didn't Lexus modify the engine to produce a little more HP or make it lighter...something.
Yes... an accord v6 will Outrun this - even worse in real life than on paper due to the sluggish transmission. It’s a shame - I had high hopes for this. All show - no go. :-(
I agree with the guy I hate those two huge comb looking things next to the exhaust, if anybody own this car please let me know if it’s really that slow thinking about this car or the 2015 Audi S5
I test drove an IS350 AWD F-Sport and interestingly enough the exhaust note is just the same and is representative of my main issue with that car: it is not much fun to drive and does not have any exhaust note unless you drive it WOT. The personality of the car completely changes when pushed very hard (surprisingly how much so it does) but you really cannot enjoy it unless you bring the car to a track. I am also not liking very much the interior design: no issue with the material quality but it looks very disjointed to me.
Two reasons. - numerous countries have strict car height regulation (car can't be too low). So you only have to build one car for all those markets. Japan is one of them. - Thisc car is meant for canadian market. You don't want a low front spoiler in canada, due to heavy snow.
The RC is way too heavy having a curb weight of 3958 lbs !!!! , they need to make track performance version of this car with a lower curb weight , this car for a coupe should weight around 3300-3500 lbs max !!!
A 2018 Chevy Camaro V6 w/335 and the Alpha platform will shame this Lexus RC in all performance categories. This RC is more a two door luxury coupe and not a sports car.
The huge spindle GRILLE sends the message, that this car - SUCKS AIR like a Monster. In a smog-filled city - it spews out POLLUTION to fill your lungs. Switch to Tesla folks ! - Before it is too late.
Exterior looks good in person - not great, not super sexy, but good! Interior is incredibly ugly and clunky though. Piecemeal gibberish that looks like some of the random piles of rock one sees in the Rockies! Wish the interior could be half as sleek as the exterior.
With the debut of this model, featuring Lexus' take on a supposedly bold and imposing front fascia, Lexus has proven that it's obnoxiously large grill can mar the appearance of any car, no matter how beautiful the rest of its exterior styling is. Every new model that has rolled out of Lexus' factory prominently displaying this new girl looks like the gaping mouth of a large whale ready to devour a school of plankton. Lexus desperately needs to go back to the designing board to remedy this serious design flaw.

Huh? He specifically noted how Lexus paint is top notch. What're you even talking about?
The RC is made in Japan, they will have even more stringent standards than the Cambridge plant.
SIMPLY DA MOST SEXY COUPE IN ITS CLASS
As a rc350 owner , don't think about it , BUY IT! Opinions vary but this car is amazing and handles great. Go for the f sport you won't be disappointed.
This car looks GREAT!
THIS IS MY FOR MY 50TH BIRTHDAY
the interior to me feels like the old analog time with bad quality because of the plastic buttons. exterior is pretty cool.
This looks pretty cool
What is your opinion on this vehicle 4 yoers later? Is it a good buy 4 years later? I am considering 2015 model for daily drive. Thanks.
Did you ever get an answer somewhere else?
@@paco7669 I have a 2015 ford fusion and it's amazing. Looking to buy a 2015 f sport lexus 350
like the car a lot, really interested however I am aware of the fuel pump recall in the models 2015-2018 which is holding me back from purchasing one
The fuel pump recall was just in the rc f version I thought?
Zack, love your reviews. Not just this particular but overall, I have seen many car reviews and I must say, I really enjoyed watching yours. Very well informed and unbiased. Great job!
saw the reviewer around my house with that RC.
I like how your video script is well laid out and presented. Great video.

It's high off the ground, because he has the AWD version, which has higher ground clearance.
Great looking car. Nice to see Toyota making sports cars again.
How is it on gas ?
Give me the RCF with all-wheel drive.
Omg finally a great review!!! People should learn from you

Reminds me of what a future supra would look like..

Me likes. Me wants Motormouth to give me one. NOW!
Zack, where do you film your videos? Motormouth Canada
Are the pricing in Canadian dollars?
You didn't find the center console looks like a Nintendo from the 80's,just square sitting there.
too much plastics
Beautiful car. Please do a review of the RC F-sport or RC-F if you get a chance!
If I am going to spend the money, I would get the 4 door sadan. It's just a better value. 🚗
Hi, Motor mouth canada....I think U just misspoke, when u Said Lexus has Trucks...Of course, there is the New NX SUV...Take Care !!
I think the RC AWD would be a good car if you compare it to an Audi A5
gorgeous car

Where in Ontario are you filming this? The area looks really nice
Stackin Benjis Your comment is odd. Are you saying that there aren't in Ontario that looks equally beautiful?
Beautiful
Good job, keep it up
I sure won't be paying a dime for this car. Look at the buttoms in the dash and the radio controls.. Didn't I see this in the late 80's?
Much better then touch screens

"Norm McDonald"
beautiful car but its a shame the a manual is not offered , i guess its still a boring car for an older person
Yup, your mom likes the back seat.......
First view ! I don't like the styling, but I'm sure it's a nice car on the inside and a nice one to drive.
Very nice except for that clock. :)
Can somebody one PLEASE tell Lexus to put a 6 speed MANUAL transmission in this car (and I mean stick shift)!
+Stephanie Pursley the last cars they had selling with stick, no one bought so, i doubt they would ever add them again in the usa.
These new signature headlights...ugh. The slope of the hood to the nose is really odd/awkward looking as well. Interior is gorgeous.
My next Bebe 😍
Thats called "the old man color"
Why is the nose so high from the ground? That wheel gap.
mainly because toyota isn't made up of stancetards.

The E350 Coupe weighs more than this car. I do agree that they should've tried to decrease the weight using Aluminum or something though.

Ruined by the weird tacky looking slats at rear 👎

Ugly front end. The car looks like a jigsaw puzzle from 5 different cars. Center console is a mess. Not going to be in my driveway anytime soon.

Awful looking car. Nice review tho
In the u.s.a the RC350 f sport is AWD and the RC350 is RWD. Different in both countries.
Who told you that? I have the RC 350awd and its not the f-sport version.
