Aerial Amy performs at CPDAS 2013

Thank you so much to VerticalLove for organizing the amazing, inspiring weekend that I just came back from! I was asked to perform and teach workshops at the Canadian Pole Dance & Artistry Showcase in Toronto, which was a two-night event with gorgeous guest performances from Cleo the Hurricane, Karol Helms, and tons of Canada's talent on stage. I opened the show both nights with this, which is choreographed to Me'Shell Ndegeocello- "Beautiful". This piece was from my heart and I hope you can see that.
I also gave myself the challenge of choreographing a piece without any inverts and still telling a story, and connecting with the audience... I guess you can tell me if I succeeded or not!

Absolutely amazing and wonderful. This is why you are my favorite. I've been so discouraged lately with pole dancing due to not having a solid invert. But you have shown that a performance can be outstanding without it.
