The more I watch the Andertons videos the more obvious it becomes how superior Pete is to everyone else. Love the stuff he does with Mick and I do enjoy Lee and Rabea a lot (Chappers has been expanding his horizons more lately too which is definitely welcome) but just Pete by himself is always the best. Need to find a left handed Gretsch '59 Falcon now.
Pete is genuinely one of the most amazing players on this channel. He plays with so much style and emotion, it's unreal. I only really watch these videos for the playing, and I enjoy his the best.... good job Pete 👏👏👏
I love this guitar! it's in the window of my local guitar shop. I see it every morning whilst travelling to work and it just looks magnificent! now i finally get to hear what it sounds like...and I love it!
Once again, Pete is killing it on this video. All the tones were great, but he hit on a "House of the Rising Sun" vibe for a moment when he was playing through the Sheriff that was just incredible.
I love the Gretch, I have a 6128 Cadillac green, it is not hanging on the wall with the rest of the guitars, it's in the case next to Gibson Lucille. I really enjoy his playing.
Man, I remember playing bass for someone when I was in high school and he played this exact guitar and let me try it out once. I couldn't believe how silky smooth it was to play and how it sounded so resonant. I will always want one of these and it may be my next guitar purchase.
Gorgeous! I'm actually picking up a White Penguin in 3 weeks, can't wait!! Beautiful playing. Looking forward to visiting your shop next week when I'm in London.
Hi Peter, yes I planned for that. We're staying in the Cartwright Gardens area, so will find transportation when there. We are coming to see Underworld Friday, so most likely visit Anderton's on Thursday.
Chris C. I went the other week for my first visit to the shop & did the opposite journey, going into London for a day. The train station in Guildford from Waterloo isn't too far from Andertons.
It sounds wonderful and also has a serious growl to it. Gretsch is pretty cool. The pricetag on this one is a bit on the steep side but i want some kind of Gretsch. Is it a standard with such a wide neck in Gretsches?
The guitar that looks like a jazz guitar but doesn't sound alike, but Gretsch has it's unique tone and these guitars are very cool for certain kind of music.
Gretsch Falcons are freakin’ huge. The body just seems 20% bigger than almost anything else. Not a reason not to get one, of course - but worth bearing in mind.
Malcom Young played a Falcon and he was 5 something lol! A BEAST!! I’m 5’ 6 and my 64 Tennessean and 335 kinda big but I love em!!! I draw the line on a Fender Jazz bass…that really shrimps me out!😂😂😂✌️❤️
Yeah the strength of this guitar are outside of Jazz and Bossa Nova, although it doesn't sound bad at it either, but still there is no way of comparing it to a real jazz guitar. At 2:53 it starts to get into it's world.
If the serial number is correct on this demo it is the guitar I purchased from Andertons last year. It is a very special instrument, that only comes around very rarely. Picker1
Saw this guitar on the inside of Neil Young’s Decade album when I was very young, 45 yrs later I got me one. Love it 🇺🇸👊🏼

I have the Stephen Stills 1958 model. Best guitar in the world🌹🇩🇰❤️Nice playing Pete👍🇩🇰
I love this guitar! it's in the window of my local guitar shop. I see it every morning whilst travelling to work and it just looks magnificent! now i finally get to hear what it sounds like...and I love it!
Pete and a Falcon....perfect combination!!Love your demos!
Ode to the one and only mr. Frusciante? It's his birthday after all :p
beautiful instrument... and the guitar player is a master!
I almost didn't watch this as it's not my kind of guitar, but man I could listen to Pete play all day.
Once again, Pete is killing it on this video. All the tones were great, but he hit on a "House of the Rising Sun" vibe for a moment when he was playing through the Sheriff that was just incredible.
I have that guitar. Absolutely love it.
Unbelievably beautiful Guitar and sound!!
Great guitar and an even better player. Nothing as relaxing as Pete playing some smooth blues.
That is such a Beautiful Guitar. So it's sister guitar "The Gretsch Blue Falcon". Just Love it.
Pete's playing has so much feeling !!!!
Bought the Silver Falcon Players Edition (center block & thinner body) amazing guitar... sounds so much better in person than on videos.
Dream guitar. Unique tone best looking guitar!
Oh my god 😭 Pete!! please make more lessons I just love your playing!! 😀
Bloody hell.....That's how you review a guitar!!!! Nice.
I love the Gretch, I have a 6128 Cadillac green, it is not hanging on the wall with the rest of the guitars, it's in the case next to Gibson Lucille. I really enjoy his playing.
One of my dream guitars....and I don't even play!! It's a goddamn work of art!!
Man, I remember playing bass for someone when I was in high school and he played this exact guitar and let me try it out once. I couldn't believe how silky smooth it was to play and how it sounded so resonant. I will always want one of these and it may be my next guitar purchase.

You are aware, I hope, that the shop is in Guildford...

Lovely playing Pete. I was hoping for some Billy Duffy sounds (She Sells Sanctuary to be precise)...
One of my favourite guitars, played by my favourite Andertons player. One day I will get to Guilford.
love the playing Pete. The facebook live broadcast you did a couple of weeks ago with Bea was the best thing I've heard in years.
Would you guys mind shooting a video comparing some selected models from Duesenberg and Gretsch?
Pete's playing is INSANE!
Sounded rockin thru the Victory Sheriff amp!
And this is why Danish Pete is the man! 👊
Finally some Gretsch! Awesome playing Pete! can you guys review the Gretsch Power Jet (in black) please :) Thank you!
Now THAT'S the kind of stuff you want to hear on a White Falcon----!!
So close to what I'm lookin at picking up in the next few. I'm looking at the G6139T-CBDC
nice. I just got a gretsch and this has given me some inspiration., 2nd tune reminds me a bit of Gustavo Santaolalla (brokeback mountain) sort of feel
Great playin'. Thanks Pete, you're the best.
D'you know, this might just have made my decision for me? Thanks Pete. Beautiful playing.
Best way to start a late sunday morning? Pete playing a White Falcon
I thought Gretsch guitars were only for country and rockabilly (wrong) .. wow I’m completely blown away
It sounds wonderful and also has a serious growl to it. Gretsch is pretty cool. The pricetag on this one is a bit on the steep side but i want some kind of Gretsch. Is it a standard with such a wide neck in Gretsches?
sweet sound of the Gretsch falcon..love he dirty sounds.
I think you've found a keeper, there.
The guitar that looks like a jazz guitar but doesn't sound alike, but Gretsch has it's unique tone and these guitars are very cool for certain kind of music.
What would be your choice out of this and a Player edition centre block double cut Falcon?
Superb instrument! Superb playing! Bravo!
Go Pete! that was great!!!!!!
The Gretsch can do it all. TV Jones Classics and Classic plus are the bestest! 👍 Pete......
Pete please teach us the ways of the Danish blues
Cool guitar to put a little bit of drive..
ah ... so close... I thought you guys demoing the double cutaway version ... i haven't seen that version around ...
Boy Aditya that's the white penguin
The Penguin's a completely different guitar... The falcon comes as a double cut/
P.M. - the Penguin is more like a fancy duo jet. Very nice guitar.
If I buy this guitar, Pete is included?
Awesome sounding thing this one. My only gripe is that ridiculous rubber-condom-thing at the tip of the wiggle stick. Looks hideous!
Could always take it off
True. But why put it there in the first place?
Probably for better grip
SAFETY FIRST.
The rubber on the bigsby is a protective cover for shipping, they come right off :)
Will take pete's playing over some of the mindless noodling on here
🎼 Beautiful
You had to play californicationn
Can't believe no one has picked up that rig. Isn't it the same one from the AC/DC video?
I'm a simple man. I see Gretsch, I hit like. 🤷
Did you wear the BTTF shirt especially for a '59 guitar, or was it a coincidence?
What would be your choice out of this,Falcon,a centre block players edition Falcon and a 6120 RHH?Bare in mind I’m only 5ft 3.Thanks for your help😀
Gretsch Falcons are freakin’ huge. The body just seems 20% bigger than almost anything else. Not a reason not to get one, of course - but worth bearing in mind.

Does it come with a Danish Pete to play it for me?
Yeah the strength of this guitar are outside of Jazz and Bossa Nova, although it doesn't sound bad at it either, but still there is no way of comparing it to a real jazz guitar. At 2:53 it starts to get into it's world.
waiting for the black raven, white guitars dont match my furniture :P sweet sound Pete!
'59 reissue right?
What would be your pick out of this and a 6120?
Why is Pete so good
Bravo!
I once ate at a 5 star restaurant that had a bad echo problem like your recording studio. It made the eating experience unpleasant 🙃
hahaha pete i just came here to say that i love you
You can tell pete loves that AXE 8:35 minutes
Welcome to the Chicago Music Exchange. Ahahahah!
Gloray!
Why's the guitar audio panned so far to the right??
saito-san like it! (from beck)
I gotta take some Beano.
If the serial number is correct on this demo it is the guitar I purchased from Andertons last year. It is a very special instrument, that only comes around very rarely. Picker1
Hmm, no block inlays on a Falcon?
Marcel Riemer transitional model
i don't need two kidneys right? i can finally afford the ibanez iceman i want
whats he playing around the 3:30 mark??
Ninjacole Think it's just something he made up but the chord section is similar to Tom Petty's "Good Enough"
Ninjacole who's mark?
Dead Weather?
why there's 2 pickups switch selector?
The second one is a mud switch, it has no tone pot only 3 tone positions
the sparkles on the headstock always seem so cheap looking to me
At the this point I more or less think “why get this when I can get a smaller look alike?”
Play some Neil Young on that baby!
hmmm...play some Kavus Torabi
6 people without souls.
So I take it that it's not actually a '59 Falcon, but more of a re-issue.
Paradox take it indeed
Am I the only one who wants a nirvana by busting the bank?
first!
don't waste comment space! They only get to read the first 10 comments now UA-cam have changed it
Beautiful guitar. But plays it like he's scared of it.
I think anyone would be afraid to play a guitar worth almost 5 grand
