Sony's idea having all these spin-offs wasn't inherently bad. It's the lack of vision. Such a lack of vision there isn't even a cohesive universe. If this was gearing up to widening Spider-Man's canon lore, awesome. But it's just some what if irrelevant nonsesne.
You are better off watching the Spider Man animated series from the 90s. There is a Madame Web arc at the end of the series, with Peter finding out he's a comic book character!
Morbius should have been an X rated movie, a really monstrous vampire putting the entire city in fear until he could control his feeding urges on the blood of the innocent for the guilty. A bit like Blade and The Ghost rider. A different type of creature of the night would have been a better adversary than another vampire.
I'm hopeful for Sony's Spideyverse...liked Venom, didn't watch the sequel yet, loved Morbius and wanna watch this one in theaters soon. Excited for the eventual Sinister Six movie. We just need Andrew Garfield back as Spider-Man and this universe better be the same one as his. I'm hopeful things will get better if Sony, unlike WB, doesn't listen to the critics and Feige cultists and keep moving forward with its universe.

How can you have a set up movie for a side character, I suppose they are going to bring all of these spider characters together for a finale. But if you don't show any action scenes of these super heroes no one is going to bother to follow the other movies. Good review, the trailer didn't generate any excitement in me like Venom.
I have no desire to watch Madam Web. I'm not about the feminist power. I did, however, like Morbius. Many have described it like a film from the 90s. Maybe. But it was woke free. And that's refreshing enough for me. I like the scenario on the ship toward the beginning of the movie. It played out like a horror film. I actually liked that. What's more is I like how they visualized what it's like to master echo location. That was awesome. On a side note: Why do the Spider-Man villain films come across better than the good guy films nowadays? The trailer for Kraven The Hunter looks amazing! 👌 -OG

I liked both Venoms and Morbius for what they were so I don’t see myself disappointed in this but I’ll agree that the first venom is still the best

It's quite obvious all these Spiderman spin offs are shit what Sony needs to make is amazing Spiderman 3 with Andrew Garfield and finish his trilogy
