There are more ways for you to lose your money in crypto than to credit card scammers. Plus credit cards have built in fraud and theft protection and can do chargebacks. What protections do crypto have other than losing valuation and not being an intelligent investment?
So on those full cards was the pin included? Must have been right or else how would you withdraw anything from the ATM? If he had been to prison for 8 years then the statue of limitations has passed for any crime he has done and he can talk about them without worry of prosecution, only crimes with physical violence last over 10 years.
1:03 I’ve been in the western unions in Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles I’ve been to the south American version of Western Union, which took days to complete but beyond that was fine. Having said that in all my experiences, I just don’t see the sketch factor in this. Or why you would say nothing at all good comes from going to Western Union. It’s just a money transfer service. When I travel, I send myself money. I have also sent people money, I’ve also gotten paid via Western Union before E transfer wizard big thing. It’s only been the last like 510 years not even 10 years like five years that people have been doing E transfers on the regular or even had the opportunity to because a lot of bank accounts didn’t include them in charged five or $10 for each E transfer, if it was even offered at all, so I disagree with your Western Union opinion
He Definitely is a smart guy and you can tell he has remorse and feels bad, but there should be no reason why he can’t become a security consultant for financial institutions there’s been a lot of convicted felons that were doing credit card, check fraud, and other financial crimes that have been able to get the same thing so I don’t see a reason why he couldn’t. Either way he’ll figure it out and land on his feet and end up where he needs to be in life. Best of luck.

Always waiting for your stuff my dude 🔥
If he's in NY I have a feeling which halfway house he's in. I was in one that was in a small city that had a train come right thru the middle of it
I used to hiy mailboxes looking for anything with information, well one day I found some checks and ofc wrote them out to a buddy's buddy who would go in the bank and deposit it, well he got arrested and that was the end, it can be very risky
You just admitted to committing a felony lol idiot
Anything checks is very risky
(5:24) Kind of off topic, but down in Houston, I have run into multiple pickup trucks on I-45, especially on the service road, with train horns installed, most likely underneath. It's kind of startling, since for about 0.1 seconds you feel like you have a train barreling down on you, even though the nearest track is like 2 miles away.
I have one of those horns hooked to an auxiliary battery wired to a switch through the floorboard installed on a Toyota Yaris
As somebody who works in retail and frequently processes Western Union transactions, I can tell you that the vast majority of them are done simply for monthly rent payment
i feel like i kinda listened to starting story from one of your episodes. thanks for all the real life cyber incidents story u post it really helps gain more knowledge.👍👍👌👌
Stories like this make me question life choices.
Love this show!
That was very thoughtful of you to mention the train in the background for the viewers that are driving!
If they ever make a movie for this guy, they ought to use Nicolas Cage because his voice sounds just like him
wow, quite a story. I'm on the other side of all this. I help companies keep the bad guys out, lol
LETS GOOO NEW EPISODE
LOL. I'll watch this later. Nice Western Union observation. Spot on.
Ha, I knew someone who got busted as result of the server in Dallas. Went from Gallardo, Escalade, ZR-1, and ~$1.5mil house half an hour outside of Dallas (that kind of money bought a ridiculous house then) straight to jail/Federal prison. Bond was too high for him to even get out while awaiting trial for like 2 years
Plot twist, this was Billy Ray's backstory 😂
SH you are the man! Keep it up.😊
Got out, had nothing but tech skills, then did what he had to. I'd jury nullify tf outta this guy
The guy is still hiding unde the same train station 🤣
I love these vids, no need to see the screen so they can play in the bacground! :)
Awesome video great job 👍
Dude, these are amazing.
You were influenced by radio lab. I really like it.
Between this and Shawn Ryan’s UFO releases, I’m all set for the day 🤩
This was crazy. Subscribed for sure.
Old episode, maybe 2 years old. Old story,Jack!
Hey Jack!!! I'm sure you saw the latest Punchmade Dev video!! Wonder what he'll say when you interview him in 25 years?😅
He aint gonna make it 25 years
I need didn't realize Ira Glass was so into tech.
On my life when the train horn sounded in this video there was also a train IRL blowing it's horn
Such a ❤ podcast!
I met a Jewish guy down the street from there.
I can hear the whistle blowing but I can see no train....
Crypto fixes western union crap
There are more ways for you to lose your money in crypto than to credit card scammers.
Plus credit cards have built in fraud and theft protection and can do chargebacks. What protections do crypto have other than losing valuation and not being an intelligent investment?
@@RoughRyderrTo be fair, cryptocurrency wasn't originally designed to be treated like an investment. It was meant to replace currency.
@@cody1541it doesnt matter what something was originally for if it ends up being what it is (dynamite for example)
Thats awesome, we had a guy in high-school who made ours, we sold them. He works for Google now 😅
RIP Cam. You had a good one.
25:20 is bro rapping about creating fake credit cards ?
incredible. Thank you
So on those full cards was the pin included? Must have been right or else how would you withdraw anything from the ATM? If he had been to prison for 8 years then the statue of limitations has passed for any crime he has done and he can talk about them without worry of prosecution, only crimes with physical violence last over 10 years.
5:15 Patuxent Institution(Jessup Cut) and all the other prisons in the Annapolis Junction are next to the trax
As-salamu alaykum ❤
Excellent channel !
Wow life is funny lol this story is familiar 😂

In the circle, I haven't heard of anyone using WU for anything legitimate, especially before crypto. That's probably why
Best of luck.
timelime from release to him sleeping in seem very short and difficult .
Eeeeesh... wow. Great narration.!!!!
Sounds like Billy Ray wasn’t sending money to his family. Doing shady shit. I ain’t judging though.
