Haven't been to the OC Luxe Buffet but i've been to the Original Luxe Buffet in Ontario when they 1st opened. Their Crab Legs were Salty and their Lobsters were Stingy, Limit 1 per each time, Lines really long and once their Lobsters ran out, it took 30-45 minutes to refill.

Wow! Impressive variety and amount of good meat for the prices. I think they all looked great! Maybe because I live in Mid-Michigan and we don't have the awesome Asian and seafood selectins. Definitely no AYCE lobster on a buffet and zero Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. I needed to get out west!

Dave first said the second restaurant Korean bbq is his favorite Korean bbq in OC, later he said this is the first Korean bbq he tried in OC 😂 I have been there, they are pretty good, but everywhere in that Korean bbq is oily! You can see excessive oil about to drip off from the hood…also the $21.99 is only the base level, if you want premium selections, they are in high $30 mark
Luxe Buffet was vastly better pre-covid and was always packed with people. I just went there a couple months ago on non-lobster day and they have really gone downhill in taste and quality of the food. Most foods tasted bland and there were some things I could not even finish eating. The donut machine, chocolate fountain and gelatos are gone replaced with convenience store ice cream bars and ice cream cups. It is really only worth it now if you go before 3:30pm and with a buy 1 get 1 free coupon. Westminster Mall is a ghost town of vacant store spaces and has been on life support for years so Luxe may not be around much longer.
Depending on your “look” they treat you terrible as well. I live down the street. Have tried it various times since it opened

@@Iceyfire12 There aren't many of these types of buffets left in the area. The closest were Hometown Buffet and Soup Plantation but those are both gone. Like I said, Luxe is ok for the price if you go during lunch and even better if you are with someone else and have a buy one get one free coupon. Other than that, there is still Gen (Korean BBQ) and Shibuya (Japanese hot pot) type buffets.
Disagree. Luxe was horrible before Covid too. The quality was not great. The food just looks great on video. It's perfect for blogging not eating.
Westminster is Asian food hot spot! I also enjoy the little night market on Bolsa Ave they have in the Summer time.

Ya it seems that after covid Luxe really cut costs and probably got rid of the dishwashers. It also seems that they got rid of busboys because the wait staff now picks up the used plates and cleans tables. The $20 an hour minimum wage that goes into effect next month isn't going to be helping things either.

I'm sad to report, Lux Buffet is no longer in business. It's closed permanently. 😢😢
Styrofoam will never break down in a land fill. I would rather pay 3-4 extra dollars to be able to eat off a regular plate and regular silverware instead of eat with a plastic fork.
Thanks for introducing white people to the Asian buffets. Since Covid the OC has lost most of the American buffets which is really depressing, It's nice to know what to eat now and how we are supposed to eat it.
To be honest, I don’t eat out as much as I used to cuz the quality of the foods are sucked. They used low quality produce and raised the price. If I wanted a real quality foods I have to spend a lot more than I used to
