Hello. I am trying to calibrate my power bank batteries. I have drained to zero and im trying to recharge again and it took 12 hours to go from 0 to 29% for my 27000mah power bank
@idrischris2138 I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer. This is how omnicharge power banks have been designed to calibrate, but it is not the same for other power banks.
Sorry to hear that Michael. From my research it looks like the lock/unlock/retail modes are a feature of the newer versions - it’s not something I’ve encountered before. I did find this, so please report back and let me know if it works: 1. Press and hold the power button until the Omnicharge logo shows up, then, 2. While still holding a power button, press the AC, then the USB button in turn for 4 times. 3. Release the power button. 4. Select SYSTEM MODE from the menu, check UNLOCKED and exit the menus. 5. Power on Omnicharge, and it should be unlocked.
Simply plug in any device you would want to charge, via any of the outputs and continue to use the battery until depleted. The more power hungry the device, the faster the battery will drain.
I'm assuming you've attempted to calibrate the battery, by ensuring it is completely drained before attempting a recharge, then recharging to 100%? If so, one of the battery cells may have failed. I would reach out to Omnicharge support if calibration isn't working.
Sometimes, it will say the wrong charge value and you assume it’s drained when you go to calibrate it, but it isn’t. You need to drain it until the LED shows nothing but a battery icon with a X through it, before recharging back to 100%. This may not be your situation, but it is a common error people can make when calibrating.
If the model has a wireless charging, turn on the battery and the charging plate becomes active. Then just place the phone on the top of the omnicharge.
