Foresight being a curse makes me think that Prometheus is seeing infinite possible futures, and it's taking a large toll on his mental health. He's likely adapted to it, but there's really no telling what he really knows. It's possible that he's manipulating Mel with his words in order to lead her down a certain path. One that may lead to the downfall of Olympus. He doesn't need to win a physical fight, he just needs to put a good amount of doubt in her mind. Making her question certain things that Hecate would rather she not question.
You and I have the same thought on Promy’s playbook ^ I do believe he’s moving Melinoe as a chess piece by having these boss encounters. Which may explain why he found it more effective to side with Chronos, than siding with the gods. It’s so Melinoe is forced to meet with him. How exactly this downfall plays out, I’m not sure. He has yet to specify if Chronos would win, just that the gods would lose. I still think they both believe in different versions of the Golden Age.
Ooo I think you’re right! If my memory is right, ig the gods do scale on the level of worship. Not sure if that includes Fear because no one worships Moros, but he’s strong as heck. Unless the Fear of a god works the same ^ Or Incarnates and Gods function differently. eh*
Yeah, I think we'll all need a while to recover from Arcane's ending XD. I just want to say that my boy Viktor has never done anything wrong, ever, in his life. Lol, Prometheus has probably already seen that Melinoe will react badly when she realizes how shitty her family is. "You shall see where all your certainty gets you." What a badass. And I do agree that foresight, while extremely useful, could be one hell of a curse, especially if you couldn't control it. Boredom aside, what if allowing something horrible to happen will eventually lead to a greater good? Do you allow it to happen or stop it? Dune explores this, and I thought it was very clever. Cute as hell that he talks softly to Aetos after Melinoe is defeated. Hestia feels like the kind of boss that would be a nightmare to deal with. "Your job is amazing, you are silly to complain I make you work 14 hours per day for minimum pay". Or no pay, in Heracles's case. And oh my Prometheus, you're right! Melinoe is the goddess of nightmares. Specializing in dreams would make perfect sense.
Viktor is a good boy!!! Along with Ekko ^ I love them both c:: Mmm! I’ve been meaning to get into Dune, but it sounds to me like another trolley problem ^ I’d like to imagine the god’s powers align with their personality. For instance, if someone was detached as Chaos and would have the Foresight ability, they likely may remain the same character?? Huge question mark, but I’m going with someone close to Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen if Chaos had Foresight. Someone who could see all outcomes, but chooses not to act because they don’t feel anything personal to them (besides Nyx and Zagreus). But since Promy has high levels of compassion, his Foresight is experienced as a curse because he can’t stand bad outcomes. TLDR: That was incoherent, but in short. If Chaos had Foresight, I think they’d be fine with their detached personality (almost like a monotheistic god). But someone passionate or high levels of empathy, Foresight is the worst ability to have for their well-being. Take care of yourself Promy!!!

"Why does Heracles hate his job now?" ffs Hestia you were doing so well.
It is a shame, out of all of them, Hestia was one of the better ones ^ Goes to show the entire system is misguided.
0:31 i think that persephone in the first game said something about this, when she talks to hades
