Meet Rana Hamir Singh Sodha, the present Rana of what was once the kingdom of Amarkot. Rana Hamir Singh Sodha is one of the last remaining Hindus in Pakistan. He shares with us the story behind why they decided to stay in Pakistan while the rest of Rajputs decided to leave to set up new homes in India after the 1947 Partition. Despite the separation, he frequently visits India for family gatherings. I found him in Jaipur when he came to celebrate the birthday of his niece. Rana Hamir usually wears his traditional Rajputana attire although while travelling he prefers to wear camouflage as he finds it comfortable. During our conversation, he opened up that he was schooled in India until his early teens and mostly stayed with his Rajput relative who was in the Indian army, and he only had seen the civilian life after he returned back and had to start a new life in Amarkot. He not only had to learn the mannerism and etiquettes of the Amarkot Dhaat kingdom but had to learn new languages as well - Dhaati, Sindhi among a few. He just see national intrest, and don't wanna realise that our Rana Arjun singh made a big mistake on going to the pakistani side, as everybody can see the people from all over the pakistan, including his area, I would say majority of hindus from his area are shifting to india. RAJPUTISZATION OF PUNJABIS: The Sikh adoption of the Rajput surnames Singh and Kanwar/Kaur was an attempt by the Sikhs to Rajputise their identity, this form of Rajputisation was more specifically done for the Jat Sikhs who were considered to be of low origin amongst the Sikhs.[32] The Phulkian Jats, who originally gained power by helping the Mughal Emperor Babur enter India, continued to Rajputise their identity till the 20th century by remotely claiming descent from the Bhati Rajputs of Jaisalmer. Similarly the Jats of Bharatpur and Dholpur also tried to Rajputise their origin. Bharatpur reportedly lost its Rajput status when their ancestor Balchand was unable to have children with his Rajput wife and had sons with a Jat woman.[33]

Bangladesh dropped from 22% in 1949 to 8.5% now. in West Pakistan, the number was around 15% and then dropped to 1.4% in 1947.Hpwever, getting close to 1.8-2% now.

Hidu minorities are very much respected, and loved in sind. I grew up with many hidu families in sindh. We enjoyed holly and all other tahwar with them. We lived like as if they are our relatives n we are theres. I have very good memories of all Indian families that I grew up with.
When will you give equal rights to Ahmeddiya Muslims too they are not allowed even to say they are Muslim. Hindu don't get equal rights too whereas in India 3 of our President of India is Muslim, we have Muslim Head of Armed forces, Airforce etc but by Pakistani law not only Hindus, Sikhs, Christans don't get the rights to be Head of state or Army but also not all sects of Muslims can't be minister. My grandparents migrated from Sindh leaving behind our home, land and heritage but i am glad they did, Mr.Rana says Hindus are protected in Sindh but the reality is 99.9% of Sindhi community has been forcefully converted to Muslims and they new generation doesn't even know about it

His family rights of jagirdari was protected by Pakistan, so they choosed to be part of Pakistan. In past many Rajput king lived under mugal kings and served them in past. Eg. Rajput king Ram Singh was defeat in Assam when he led an assault team of mugal army in attempt to capture Assam.
