I talk with Vic Mignogna while he signs multiple characters

- This is video footage I took of Vic while visiting his booth at Savannah Mega Comic Con in June 2019. He is especially thrilled to meet me since this is in Georgia and I’m from Seattle, WA. He signs labels for Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, D N Angel, and Soul Eater. He also talks with voice actress Tiffany Grant, who had a table right next to him.
aw he's so sweet....last weekend my husband surprised me with an early Valentine's day gift of a personal Vic Mignona video addressed to me from Cameo...Vic was so sweet, he recorded on the Star Trek Continues set, and he thanks me for being so supportive of him (Tim told him I get really upset whenever I hear about what he's going through.....which I do), and I just cried because he was so kind with his words. My husband told him about me and I guess he called me a wonderful wife and mom and Vic mentioned it in the video...just boosted my self-esteem to hear it from him on top of hearing it from my husband, you know? He gave me motivational advice to be grateful for the things I have, which he said he's done for the past year and he said my husband and I were among the reasons he had to be grateful...just....what a wonderful man.
I watch it every day just to lift my mood a little, I still get teary-eyed...best valentine's gift ever.
I just popped over to Cameo and saw that video for myself. What an awesome gift! It's fantastic that Vic still has these outlets where he can receive support from his fans. I have a video on my channel that I got from him a few months ago through Celeb VM; I've been wanting to get another quote from him uploaded here soon.
This meeting was only possible after a flight from one end of the country to the other; there aren't many celebrities I would go to that kind of trouble to see. Thanks for watching and leaving the awesome comment.
Got to meet him at the same convention and he was so pleasant! They say don't meet your heroes but this is one situation where they would be wrong. I only love him more after getting to meet him in person.
Definitely. I've met a lot of celebrities at a lot of conventions, and he helped make our meeting especially memorable.
Was that Tiffany Grant sitting next to him?

So do I. You might have noticed that at first the camera was a little shaky. It's because I was so happy to finally meet him that I couldn't keep my hand steady. :)

I remember Vic came to a New Zealand convention along with Kakashi's English voice actor (from Naruto) back in 2012. I got Dave's autograph, but at the time Vic didn't quite arrive he was scheduled to arrive 2 hours later. But man... Now I'm punching the air for not waiting, especially since he'll probably never be back after the Monica incident...
Even if you can't meet him in person, there are ways to at least get personalized messages from him. He has accounts on both Cameo and CelebVM. Hope that helps.

Right. My first experience hearing him was on Yu Yu Hakusho back in the early 2000s. He did a couple of minor characters; one of them was big, deep-voiced guy named Bui. I'd never guess it from just listening to him.

Right. It was scary the rate at which conventions cancelled him. Thankfully it seems to be turning around, like what happened with Kamehacon.

I also have a really great experience that I want to post on UA-cam video to support him and to support Comic-Con but I don't know how to edit cuz I want to take my face out of it and just leave the part where he basically all out made me the happiest woman in the world but I really appreciate your video and I really appreciate your support thank you for coming to see Vic and thank you for posting this video I really enjoyed it
I hope you can get your video to where you are happy with it. The more footage there is of Vic with happy and appreciative fans, the better.
You should be able to find tutorial videos that can help you to work with whatever video editing program you want. You will want to learn Tracking and Witness Protection. I use HitFilm Express because it's free.

That would be sweet! He's listed on Cameo and Celeb VM; you would probably want to think of something more than just two words for him to say if you were going to buy a recording from him, though.

I will never understand the KV people who say he’s a bad guy when all the vids I have seen is him being awesome. I know you can’t capture everything on camera but like 95% of public vids shows him being nice.

Yep. His firing put a real dent in my being a fan of Funimation, even if I do have videos of some of the other VAs on my channel. I video chatted with Caitlin Glass last month, someone commented that she stayed on good terms with him.
I’m aware of the things he did but you can’t help but love the guy and the characters he played😢❤
He's basically the same as John Lasseter from Pixar. He was targeted for being overly affectionate in a world where people are hypersensitive about that sort of thing. It impacted his career, and now he's restarting it somewhere else.
I'm curious has anyone at a comic con that had him as a guest ever had him sign a copy of mass effect paragon lost?.. (he was in that movie he voiced mesnar.. "The secondary villain of the movie.")
With how many visitors he gets, it's a safe bet somebody has done it at some point. I can only speak to my own personal experience, which was this, a Broly poster I got signed later that day, and what he talked about during the panel I filmed.

I have had this conversation twice already. This happened over a year and a half ago; I haven't made an attempt to sell it yet. I just like having the option if I ever want to. I also might want to give it to someone I love so they can do it. I spent a lot of money to go to this Con and get his autographs on my property. I have the right to sell it if I want to.
@@JustinsEpicVoiceRecordings don't get so defensive you have plans to sell it like you said its your right. Still kinda lame you shouldn't go met your idols for profit. But each their own
Going to cons is expensive. I used to get personalized autographs, then I started to realize maybe I might want to recoup some of the $1,000s I was spending on them someday. If I make any profit from it, I doubt it would be very much. In this case, I also went on a flight from WA to GA.
Besides all that, I have a baby nephew whose future I'm concerned about. If something is personalized to me and then something happens to me, that's no good to anybody. You commented on my video, so I set the record straight. I could have simply deleted it.
