The Hand was never all that slow, just not as fast as some of the other much faster Stands. It's also the swipe that's a bit slower, but not by much. Crazy Diamond can sucker punch Okuyasu and catch the aforementioned swipe because CD is fast, and RHCP makes it a point of saying that it can dodge its swiping motion pretty easily (then again, with enough power RHCP could dodge anything), but in the same fight, The Hand stomps the absolute shit out of RHCP's head.
Za Hando IS fast but not as fast as CD. The swiping is just slow but the punch and kicks of Za Hando are fairly fast. Notice how fast CD's punches are compared to Za Hando. Za Hando can punch fast but not as fast and as many as CD's punches. It can even swipe mid air making it and Okoyasu move and teleport to catch up to RHCP using the bike but im not sure about that one.

It's a tricky thing because I like being able to put out stand profiles the same day. People are expecting it and it contributes to that overall Jojo hype (well, I hope so haha). I totally get what you mean though. It sucks to get spoiled and inadvertently causing that is a shame. I'll try to give it some more thought, though.
