Maybe it's just me but I love it when you film yourself experimenting with different colors and stuff. I'd definitely love to see more of that on the channel. Also, those sprayed grass tubes are KILLER!
Triple tubes totally spectacular almost a rainbow trout!!! Chris you are totally a bad ass!!! You just keep giving me some crazy ideas and to be perfectly honest no rules in color!!! Except the ones you make yourself. Thanks for great ideas and the skies are limitless!!!!!
yep i have i decided to see what i could use as moulds , a good one seemed to be plastic straws with the flexi bit streched so you have a slim worm with ripples. was surprised the straws not melt.
Im about to order the necessities to bait making, for the flake do i have to use some special non burning flake from a bait company, or will just a cheap flake from hobby lobby or something work
Hey Chris I really liked the triple Injector that was awesome to see that turn out like that. I can't wait until we move to set up my bait making station. DOING THIS AND building Rods. there is so much that I want to do . My room will be 40 ft x 60 ft. for these projects. May be one day you can come up and see my Place. Sprayed grass is my favorite color. I’d like to see you replicate a few different brands sprayed grass. I find that different brands have different recipes for their versions
I bought some dead on plastic white bucket very soft an the hardner i just figure out how much of it to get the right strength with different baits.i did this as a kid i like the softest bait i can get to stay on the hook.I been having trouble getting it to come out right its like the plastic sticky not really molded together is it cause i not getting it HOT enough?
I did the fry daddy on high an it came out great that is 400 degrees then i let cool reheat it an it scorched so its like do all the plastic when i cook it first time i put heat stablizer but didnt help with reheat
@@hillbillybassfisherman8181 do not use a Fry Daddy it is very difficult to control temperature.. use a microwave to cook your plastic or use a presto cooking pot. Make sure the plastic has been mixed very thoroughly prior to cooking. Watch my quick tips playlist for proper plastic preparation
Hey Chris I've looked through your videos, have you ever made a video using floating bubbles? I would be interested to see how someone with your experience handles the mixing and coloration of plastisol involved with floating bubbles in it.
I liked the black & green with dead on plastic do you have to use a microwave to heat it or can you use a electric burner for camping outside I hand pour all of mine into a silicone mold
Would it work if you took the rod and dipped in say chartreuse to get a build up, then put them in to the mold and put a green pumpkin or different color in with the injector, so that when you cut the tails both colors would be present and vibrant
I always wondered how they made tube jigs. Now I know. Thanks. Now, if you could show me how to mold a soft plastic bait with an internal wire hook harness, that would be great. My favorite colors were the clear with color shift flake and the swirl.
I would dip the tails of the clear tubes in the blue dip dye you can get at BPS. Sort of a secret combo that I know really works especially in Texas and California by personal experience. Not sure about our area in the SE because I ran out of them before I moved back to SE Ga
Just found your channel and its awesome! Do you have any videos of adding salt to your tubes? Been trying to find some I bought years ago, and I may have to resort to making them now.
I'd go with the spray grass popsicle. I've noticed the more bold colors don't work well for me. Maybe it's me, maybe the fish. Man those all look cool though. I have a single cavity tube mold. I've been thinking about getting a better quality mold with more cavities. After watching this I'm definitely gonna do it. Stock up some during winter. Thank you for the cool video!
Is it possible to keep the rod in them and then dip the top of the tube baits into a cup with a different color or would the heat ruin it out of the forms?
Chris I love your videos On your last tube video I ask you about a tube worm and I am going to ask again maybe you can make it When I was young about 12 to 14 years old so about 40 years ago a company made a tube worm but it a little different than what we have today. It was available in 6, 7, and 8 inch sizes. The front of the worm was solid to the segment or long enough to rig it Texas style into solid plastic then the back half was a tube with a cut tail. I can’t remember the company it might have been Burke but it was not Creme.. I caught so many good size bass on this worm and would like to make them. I would like any idea you have on how I could make these Thanks again for you awesome videos
@@WorldsWorstFishing Thanks for responding to my comment!!! And thanks again for the inspiration! Maybe one day we We get bigger we could do a Collab lol
What company made that mold for tubes. An i wonder if they make trout size. As in 1/16 rods an 1.5 or i actually want mine custom at 1.75 inch mold. For tubes
@@WorldsWorstFishing ha ha you think yer old, cause you were born, the year predator came out. That was the first movie I took a date on. Had to get her mom to drive us and she had to be there when I bought the tickets. Cause it was R rated and we were 14.
Are you & angling ai ever gonna do "Ned rig" molds ? You have not done these that I know of, & would be interested to see "small lures" used with the "color shift" additives & "pearl" add in, just a thought.
On my lure page the guys always talk about painters block for colours on lures.I guess it would be the same for soft plastic makers thinking of colours to use.👍
I tried to think of a name for the green and black color while you where pouring them. Predator Blood is fitting and made me laugh the only half decent name I could think of was Midnight Fallout.

The green swirl tubes are my favorite, they all look fantastic though!

Only all the time haven’t made any soft plastics yet I only made hard bodies metal jigs going to order some moulds in the future

great video is that a lurecaft mold sir, or what brand is that. thx for your vids
Hey Chris, Where can you get the cutter for the tails and what is it called.
Where did you get the tool to cut the skirt/tips
What length are those tubes? Are they the angling ai 4in triple dip or the 4in XL tube?
DANG! That there is a beauty idea! Nice one brother, nice one!
love the pink and blue combo, please do a swirl with those 2 colors...
