As a Lutheran who loves the music of the Church, this sent chills down my spine as I listened to her magnificent voice. God bless the Jewish people!

I sought to hear this beautiful hymn again and randomly came upon Cantor Buchdahl and it led me into a further exploration of the wonderful, loving and inspiring Central Synagogue and its cantors and rabbis. I find I am moved spiritually in a way I have never been in a lifetime of sitting in a Christian church, sad to say. I cannot recommend these videos highly enough.

Kol Ha'Kavod, Rabbi Buchdahl. This was gorgeously done and so emotive.

Cantor Buchdahl, this is beautiful. Love your dreidlach, the flexibility of your voice and its lovely, warm tone -- like syrup! I felt this -- thank you for your gifts.

She has got a beautiful and stunning voice. I always feel sorry and have a soft spot for the Jews as throughout history they have had a rough time.

this is my problem with you ,cantor ! could you not at least cover your hair before the almighty as a sign of respect ? jews wore kafiyas (long before islam ) then shtriemels ,then fedorahs ,then yarmulkas
its a sign of respect before god
being gay or different does not change your reverence for the almighty

This ceremony have nothing to do with the Jewish faith. These people are hypocrites, they are prying to their god and at the same time defeating his commands given to them through their sages.
