I think Oats' playstyle means he's gonna crush every rando that either has Charge early, or has enough ammo along the main path to beat all the bosses. Every other rando is gonna be a lot less certain since he reaaaally doesn't like going after ammo lol

It’s too funny you mention the ammo. I’ve seen him a couple times now be RIGHT BESIDE ammo and he bails on it, only to have not enough ammo at the end. Just grab the goddamn ammo 😂 it’s right there

exactly. obviously he's one of the absolute best at playing the game, but his decision making isn't developed yet. he's not got the roguelike brain yet, and consistently does that thing he does in so many romhacks: blowing a whole bunch of time stubbornly trying to basically sequence break when he's not stuck. I think once he starts accepting the small time loss of peeking in doors and grabbing those missiles he'll be consistently top 3 every race

Going taking screwattack after grabbing plasma is the wrong order of operation. Plasma is the longer way if you plan do ditching it. You should grap information first if this way is worth your time. There are on the route if you pick plasma afterwards.
