I met an amazing woman a few years back, she was beautiful...I took her and her 5 year old daughter out of an abusive situation. approximately 5 months later, she advised me that she was sick of my work schedule due to me working sometimes 12 hour shifts. I provided a nice home with an Olympic sized pool in the back along with buying her the first new car she has ever had. Then one day, she advised me that she had met someone else and she was "in love" I said okay....when will you be leaving? I had my son meet her there so she wouldn't be taking anything of mine. Long story short, she ended up getting beat up by this guy several times. Her face along with his was plastered on the local sheriffs office mugshot gallery for DV. She has messaged me several times, wanting to come back but unfortunately for her, I had already met someone else. My now wife is a godsent and I would never give up this beautiful and respectful woman just to go back to an unappreciative woman, by the way...I am a handsome man before haters chime in.

My mother was in the army and when she came back from desert Storm she just definitely wasn't the same because she got PTSD. Then when 9/11 happened I just sat there looking at my mom's face as we were watching the news coverage. She was sobbing and all she kept saying is "I should be there!" "I should be there helping!" That very next month she took her own life because the PTSD was so overwhelming and too much for her to handle. She was always a hero in my eyes. I always say I need you, wish you were here!
