I wondered how that big wheel plow worked. There is no dropping the hoe using that! I agree the only reason there are so many gyms are that yard chores have been made easier by machines. But not needing electricity or gasoline makes that tool extra good. And very little to fix on it, and longer lived than a tiller.

That's some soft looking work boots.. good for shufflin' AROUND the garden and farm.. a good sport sole liner with silicone inserts , would really kick it up A NOTCH, AND TAKE SOME OF THE HEEL STRESS OFF your load. SEMPRE FI olschool.
I picked up one of these recently to restore. It has 5 spades the, hard rubber tire on a steel wheel. The handles are metal. I can find no manufacturing emblems or markings. I guess the wooden handles would be an older implement. Didn't realize you work backwards. Makes since now.

you can use a broadfork to break the hard pack ground then use a wheel hoe for the surface
