My son took his own life . I would appreciate any prayers you offer up for him . His name is Jeffrey. He is 37 . He has 3 small children under the age of 5 . Thank you all for your prayers .

Yes! Prayer for me is a daily conversation with Jesus, My Guardian Angel, MaMa Mary and St. Michael ArchAngel. I can rightly say Jesus is my Best Friend, I talk to Him more than any other💞
Yes, He wants us to ask when we are in need, and it is good for us to acknowledge to Him that we are dependent on Him, but He wants even more for us. “Gimmi gimmi gimmi,” “Santa Clause” type of prayer is an immature and self centered relationship with God. He desires that we reciprocate the love that He constantly gives us. Everything around us is Gods “I love you”! … a drink when your thirsty, a breeze when your hot, a pet that comforts you, the clothes on your back, your good nights sleep, that good cup of coffee…EVERYTHING! And how often do we pray, “Thank you, Gods, I love you, too”!? God wants a loving personal, intimate relationship with us.
Yes, but if I only was talking to Him like a father, I was using Him, to be perfectly honest. 😢
I like to walk through cemeteries while praying my Rosary.

What she said about the sacrament of confession is true, it makes me feel so much lighter after confession-it makes me feel to go to confession every 2 weeks instead of every month because that's how good it feels, its akin to having a spiritual shower- just love it
It does 😌😌.. how fortunate we Catholics are for such a Sacrament. We feel such a joy and lightness for Christ is PRESENT in every sacrament and His yoke is light

On the subject of going to Mass. I keep telling my grandchildren, you don’t go to Mass to be entertained! You go to Mass to worship and receive the Body of Christ. Too many people go to Mass and other Christen churches for entertainment. So very sad.
So true i still and will always acknowledge my faith in the Creator , and in the Temple respect is a must . That,s is why i don,t participate fully in church that is for , i have to be careful here . That is for a NWO without the master and getting rid of useless members of society . I know , you know what i mean .

@@KendraVonEsh thank you. I use a walker and, watch Mass on UA-cam daily and then pray five Rosaries and six chaplets. Then, for Lent, I pray the Stations of the Cross daily except Sundays. So I have Consecrated my life to Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

This women gives me hope and joy I was the same way except a man and her story is just about exactly like mine thanks be to God if your a sinner that is in deep, conversion is near just open the door to Our Lord

Thank you. I've been granted the grace to see some souls in purgatory and hell. It's not a beautiful scene. Please pray for these souls. The greatest joy is to see a soul being released from purgatory and is taken to heaven. The joy I'm referring to is indescribable!!!

I have set up weekly Masses for the Suffering Souls in Purgatory for 12 yrs. I have asked the Souls in Purgatory to pray that my son in the US ARMY does not go to war. He never has. TBTG.
I still pray for my weight. Lol, in purgatory we will pray for our wait.

Vatican II did so many of us older Catholics a disservice. They were so busy trying to "put the church in the world " that they forgot to feed the flock that was already there.
I left the Church for 30 years, searched in almost every denomination and even went to Synagogue, looking for God. Finally, through the intercession of Our Lady and Divine Mercy, I found the Traditional Latin Mass. I am now learning the history of our faith, the lives of the saints, why we do what we do, the roots of our traditions- I'm finally HOME! No thanks to Bergoglio and Vatican II.
The Vatican II cult is not the Catholic Church. I believe the Holy Ghost moved Catholics away from the cult for them to find the truth. Many did walk through the traps of false religions before they embraced the one true faith. I believe Vatican II was a chastisement because many Catholics embraced Modernism and Universalism and wanted a Protestant-like faith. God allowed this just as He allowed the Kingdom of Israel to be destroyed and the people carried off because they weren't following the law as God wanted. The Holy Ghost was showing us that we had gold and wanted to exchange it for dung. The road back has been made more difficult because the Church is in the catacombs and the shepherd is missing. In the Old Testament, the Children of Israel went through a number of chastisements when they failed to follow God's laws. The Church will rise victorious with Our Lady's triumph.

@@Kitiwake It is not the Vatican Council that was the problem, but rather it being improperly implemented in some places. It was properly implemented in other places. A Church council cannot be bad as it was signed by the magisterium which cannot approve something against faith and morals. Also, Pope Francis is a living saint whose physical touch has healed multiple dying babies - documented miracles. Many new religious orders came after VII and thrive - such as the Immaculate Friars. Many great saints were fathers of the council, such as Ven Bishop Sheen.
@@vivacristorey4363I think there were some very liberal and communistic priest that perverted Vatican II. Thankfully the pastor at my Church in the 70’s when I was at that school kept the old ways as much as he could. My 1st Communion was in 1979 and we could only receive on the tongue kneeling. He did not allow for reception in the hand or “Extraordinary Ministers”

But few realize that Jesus also speaks of Heaven and Hell as actual options, depending on our actions in this life, and about an eschatological (end-times) reality. And purgatory is the term used historically to describe this third choice. Furthermore, Jesus not only mentions purgatory but also uses parables to explain this reality in multiple instances throughout the Gospels. Luke’s Gospel, Chapter 12, verses 41-48, tells the story of the faithful servant, which clarifies four verdicts. And what about us? First servant, who receives reward for performing as his master pleases. With his master running late, the second servant takes advantage of his masters resources and a total disregard for people. Jesus tells us the menservants and maids were beaten. He consumes food and beverages. He is a drunk. He is chastised and sent with the unfaithful What happened to the other two servants is now explained by Jesus. The third servant, according to Jesus, who knew what his lord intended but did not prepare or comply would suffer a severe thrashing. Notice he is not sent with the unfaithful. Jesus remarks to the fourth servant as follows: "But the one who was unaware of those desires, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. He is not sent with the unfaithful. This was explained by Dr. Brant Pitre on his teachings Purgatory in the Bible. This can found on You Tube.
As a cradle Catholic and full Catholic education, it's surprising what we were never taught.
Speaking for myself only here, I can't fully blame Catholic education, my parents never reinforced or taught any of it. I feel badly for the teachers, maybe they weren't fully educated or were not able to speak full truth, I dunno....

@@KendraVonEsh If you had been CIO at the right company you may have actually enjoyed your job. I work in IT for an ethical, family owned company that gives back to the community and has rich traditions…one of which is to sing Christmas carols at the corporate headquarters the day before Christmas holidays start. On the day I got the job offer to work for this company 10 years ago the bumper sticker on the car ahead of me read “God Will Provide”. That was no coincidence. Praise be to God!

When you think about purgatory you need to think about the book of Enoch. Jesus descended into hell, how did he get out? You guys need to think about this. pentacostal a really pay attention to the raising of the dead teaching for Catholics so Catholics should connect with pentacostals for the salvation of priests and men.

Here’s my theory - sometimes (not often) God can work outside of time - he can use our prayers for things that will happen in the future - or even things that happened in the past - here’s how - He may have allowed Marilyn to be released early in light of prayers that He knew she would receive - God can literally do all things - even things we don’t understand

Kendra's life story is EXACTLY mine...I kept looking for a reason to jump to another UA-cam but every time she said something I thought "me too!"
We are Gen Xers, the host her and Kendra. We were not catechised correctly. We started school and “ccd” with Church having gone full on hippie with the felt banners and awful guitar music. Thankfully my parents being old taught me the beauty of our Faith from the old Catechism.
Kendra… I rejected my Catholic faith at age 17, and came back 50 years later. Like you, it is my second (needs to be first) job. I am like a kid in the candy store. God’s grace is a joy!
