Fun fact: Electro and Sandman were supposed to the villains in James Cameron's scrapped Spider-Man film in the 90s. So seeing these two interact is almost like seeing that vision come to life.
Ironically, they were the main villains in Spider-Man: Enter Electro on PS1.
although we loved dafoe in this, jamie fox was great in this movie and had some funny lines
Dafoe, Fox, and Molina. All 3 of them excellent returning villains. The other 3 kinda wasted opportunities

I thought he was lame. I liked the Green Goblin and some of Doctor Octopus' scenes and I also liked the Lizard.

Outside movie logic, they probably thought since they already initialized the collider, it would cost them too much money to restart it. Kind of like how airlines wouldn't go back for late passengers since it would cost them unnecessary money.
This advice also applies to the Star Wars universe

Palpatine: Oh....well....the same thing kinda happened to me. I was so in the moment of my victory that my new apprentice Vader grabbed me. Now if he did this two decades ago, I'd have him where I want him, but he managed to lift my body off the ground and threw me down the Death Star's vents. Thank the force I had my cloning contingency....but....then again, that was a whole new mess.

the MCU equivalent of Norman Osborn(not counting sam raimi goblin) could take over and turn Stark Industries into Oscorp.
Though, that'll have to wait till we get another spider-man movie in the mcu.

Presumably OSHA doesn’t exist in the Raimi verse and the Webb verse.
I think when he returns home, he’ll talk to Spider-Man again tell him what he’s been through and how he got cured and I think the only person he’ll be of concerned about and want to help is electro that’s all he can remember unaffected.
Connors, venom, Doc Ock, green goblin they’re gone in his time.
Raimiverse Spider-Man saved from the trouble Electro would cause if he happens. Not Vulture, though.

A common lesson for all supervillains; The things they can fall into can give them their super powers: Like how when Jack Napier fell into a vat of fluids that make him become Joker in the original DC Batman comics plus the 1989 live-action Batman and how Flint Marko falling into a super collider in Spider-Man 3 (2007) is what gave him his super power of turning into sand and back to his human form causing him to become Sandman and how Max Dillion in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) fell into a tank of electric ells giving him his electricity super powers and causing him to become Electro.
