It doesn't bother me that she has an accent because I have an accent myself, *it bothers me that I have an accent* I've been made fun of and discriminated not only by Caucasians but also by other Latinos just because of my accent. I speak and write very well but I still have an accent. I've been watching UA-cam videos to try to improve so my next step is an accent reduction coach which I can't afford at the moment so I'm saving. That's why I made the comment, it wasn't meant to ridicule or make her feel bad, she's actually one of my favorite novela actresses.
