With director Ruben Fleischer’s Venom movie hitting theaters October 5th, I sat down with Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed to talk about the film. During the interview, Hardy talked about the Jekyll and Hyde dynamic between Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote, why he wanted to play the role, how they constructed a scene where Tom Hardy jumps into a lobster tank, how they both like to work on set, and Ahmed talks about what it’s been like landing more high profile roles.
Venom is about disgraced reporter Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) who comes into contact with an alien symbiote that turns him into the creature known as “Venom”. The film also stars Riz Ahmed as Dr. Carlton Drake, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Jenny Slate as a scientist working for Drake, and Reid Scott as a doctor trying to help Brock.

At first. I thought the same as you did. But, Tom Hardy made a statement that Shia LaBeouf knocked him out for good in an interview. So, it is what it is. Shia LaBeouf Knocked Tom Hardy out.
Having said that, i dont give a flying fuck about who knocked who out in real life..
As long as the Venom movie lives up to its expectation.. thats all i want.
I dont wanna see the toned down version of Venom like they did with the HOMECOMING . Homecoming was made for Kids under 10. As an adult... that movie was a total let down.

I enjoyed it a lot despite the bad reviews! Very fun movie.
Frosty isn’t the most charismatic interviewer and I think it shows in the body language of the guests.

I had a feeling the chemistry between Eddie Brock and Venom would be kinda like a certain Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibe. Except they're willing to work together and some humor in the mix lol :-)

Send Rocha or Perri to interview actors or directors. They would be the best people most suited from collider to interview the cast for any movie. I think Frosty Steve here is okay, but he is awkward when asking questions to Tom Hardy.

I've learnt that Frosty will let the cast/director know if he loved their film or not. Here, nothing. Have a feeling Frosty probably didn't like Venom lol.
