I’m torn between this and the frontier my only concern about this truck is how reliable it is going to be and is the transmission going to fail and the warranty is bad you have to pay extra for a longer warranty they should offer a 5 100k warranty with the truck
I'm a guy driving a Tacoma the last three years cuz I think they're reliable as hell but I've been uncomfortable in my seat for 3 years if you want to really know the difference in these trucks driving to Como round and then go test drive a new gm.
Just like the Fords, Nissans and Yotas anywhere near me. None around unless you want to order and pay far more than even the manufacturer says the thing is worth.
Don’t know how it could be perfection when the damn digital gauges are already crashing. Analog ones just work. Quit trying to be a tech company and start being an auto manufacturer.
Sorry but after working for general motors for over 25 years everyone seems to think that they're building better vehicles, can't stand the 4-cylinder It's not a truck that's going to last long but everyone seems to be building is for 5-year trucks they're not going to age well even though it's designed to be a turbo it's not a V8, and the price my god need a second mortgage to buy one of these things especially if you load it up I'm not impressed and I don't think it's perfection, sorry just saying.
I worked for GM for 35 years and I disagree with you. That 4 banger was designed by diesel engineers to basically be a gasoline turbo diesel that runs on gasoline. Even all the cooling systems on this engine doesn't run off the engine crank like previous engines, but all the cooling is electronic and thermostatically controlled so as to always keep the engine, turbo and oil fluids cool whether the engine is off or on or under strain from towing. This engine is pretty much designed to last a long time and the engine has been out there since around 2018. 2019 installed in both chevy and GMC 1500s and some Cadillac CT4s and the engines are doing even better than expected. Being a GM worker you should be be up to speed on what our Company is doing as far as innovation goes. I blew the doors off of a late model GMC pick up that had a 5.3 V8 under the hood last week at a stop light and really pissed this guy off to the point that he started to tailgate me in a road rage sort of way untill I exited the freeway rather than deal with a lunatic. 430 ft lbs of torque can go a long way when you need it. Give GM a break. They are trying to please there customers as best that they can and I need those pension checks.
The only thing good about this truck is the solar yellow color it comes in and the seating. .everything else is just going to cause you to kill someone as you play with buttons trying to adjust something as you drive down the road
Texting is illegal yet they designed a truck where you have to stare at a screen and play around with buttons to try to adjust the headlights very dangerous doing this on a huge truck or even a small vehicle ..it's incompetent.. just because they can add a lot of features and Technology does not make it a competent design..

Thanks Brian. Picking mine up Saturday.
I do like the light on the side, off roading at night helps to see where the rear of ur truck is at. But too nice of a truck off road hard
Thanks for the review of the GMC ELEVATION Brian.
Thanks for checking it out Ric!

I love this truck 👍 I totally want one ☝️
Love it! Hope to see the new colorado in South America soon
Would. A. Trailer hitch. Fit in the. Stowflex tailgate
Awesome truck.
Nice review. Payload for this specific truck?
How did you get white paint in the drivers wheel well?
Are the under body cameras only available on the AT4X? Or can you get them on the AT4 &/or Denali?
You can get underbody cameras on all trims except for the Elevation
Nice looking truck. Boy has GM surley moved frorward from the S-15 and Jimmy.
Back Seat! Lift up? Fold down??
Otherwise, nice video. Looking at buy one that is "In Transit" to my local dealership!.
LEDs in every single bulb should be standard on expensive ass new vehicles
Colorado midpower is 390 torque at 2000 rpm. But high power one is 430 but. But it's at 3000 rpm.
No 4 low?
Sticker price in this video .. is it CAD or USD ?
USD
What about heated seats and a heated steering wheel I live in Ohio gotta have that for 44k I would think..?
mmmmm 44k? sheesh.
Does it have 4 Low?
Yes, my 23 Trailboss has Auto, 4L and 4H
The Elevation has only 4H, the AT4 trim or higher has 4L
Most elevation s I've seen are 2wd
Looked at 2wd for 38,000. Impressive for the money. I think. 430lbs torque 23 mpg.

They need a V8 version
Spot On. Agree 💯
Agree. Give me old 4.3 even
@@joethomas6457 I would be fine with that. The 4.3 is the best V6 anyone made. Gr8 motor
3.0 duramax
They didn’t do this because they want to
It's nice. But i don't see $44,000
Don’t forget sales tax and the tag. It will be $50k
Just like the Fords, Nissans and Yotas anywhere near me. None around unless you want to order and pay far more than even the manufacturer says the thing is worth.
So it's official, trucks are not made for people who work anymore.
Made for doctors and business men who can afford them.
All canyons are high output Chevy has three power programs
Not much for seat adjustments
Need LED lights for the interior

The government encourages crashes if you haven't noticed.
