    My great uncle my nana brother from my mum’s side use to go to Pipc Newton when he came here from Samoa in the 1960s his name is Lauvao Opetaia and his wife Ioka Opetaia Rest In Peace to both of them ❤❤❤❤

      Traditional Samoan entertainment. The people sitting are the singers and the man with no shirt is their fuataimi or conductor. A role that is not for everyone, you have to be brave, have good timing, be entertaining but most of all convey the emotion of words the choir is singing - with the right energy, facial expressions, actions and gestures. It is an artform in itself (being a Fuataimi) Might be shameful where you come from but in Samoa, it is a well respected role. Peace and love
