#1 The US already has ALL the Oil it will ever need. No support any Cartels, no begging for increased production. And we produce it CLEANER THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY!
#2 An Electric cars being "more fun to drive" is only YOUR OPINION! I LOVE driving my gas car with it's 6 speed manual transmission! In fact I find even Gas cars with automatic transmissions BORING!
#3 Electric cars not only Cost More themselves, than gas or diesel, there is a substantial cost to having a home Charging System installed, the insurance cost is 50% higher, tires wear out 20% Faster.
# 3 There are people that have Absolutely No Intrest in Electric cars or it's tech. People that don't want to enter a destination, pre-condition batteries to charge in Cold weather or any other "programming" !
#4 Many people Do Not want an Electric car and don't want to be told that it's their ONLY Option, and they shouldn't be Forced. If electric cars and trucks are so much "better" , shouldn't the gravitate to them Naturally? Without regulation or intimidation
#5 Goverment should financing the vehicles and charging, and grid upgrades! Again, IF those things are "good investments" Private Investors, would do it !! The US needs to STOP paying "Spousal Support" to the World. If it's a good direction to move forward, we'll do it Naturally !
Finally, Has anyone considered our Highway, Bridges, and Garages? Electrics weigh a WHOLE LOT MORE! More on our Highway and Roadway surface's. We all know that large trucks tend to wear out highways faster, not to mention local roads. Our Bridges were Not Designed to accommodate the weight that comes with all vehicles being Electric. What about Parking Garages?? Imagine putting 3 or 4 times the weight into those structures!!
We just were just hit by hurricane in Houston and 2 million people were without power. One of our employees couldn't charge her Tesla so she had to Uber to work for a whole week. She lives in a neighboring town so her commute is long. Her entire area was powerless for a while. It took weeks for a lot of people in Houston to get their power restored.
Ev’s suck, my buddy spends more time at charging units than actually enjoy driving the pile of crap! So he sold it and bought a Dodge Charger, now he is happy again and saving a lot of money so gas is King
They reiterate that the price of batteries has decreased significantly over the years repeatedly, but where is that price reduction coming from? China. The same China we're expecting to compete with by sending them the resources and having them make it for us, did we forget what they did with the raw oil reserve when Biden dispensed it to China?

You can't mandate wear on consumers' vehicles' batteries to provide V2G load smoothing, especially not with the privatization of utilities. That's an explicit violation of private property rights.
So they want us to use EVs but limit how often we can use them. NOPE!
Cars will be like cell phones. A few years and the car will be worthless and hard to resell.
Remember not to buy a Chinese electric car. We don't need to give them a any more money for them to buy land in America. We need to make a law that American land can't be sold to foreign investors.

Wouldn’t it have been more intelligent to put in the INFRASTRUCTURE in FIRST before putting the electric cars on the road! Just saying! What about bridges? You all want trucks electric, electric trucks weight MUCH more than a gas powered truck. All the bridges will have to be rebuilt to handle the weight.
Not to mention where is all the electricity going to come from? Our power infrastructure is old and out dated and can’t hardly keep up in some places during hot summers and harsh winters. Add all the electric cars… spells disaster!

I can then go hundreds of miles before stopping for another 5 minutes.
Whats that like with an electric car?
I can drive for about 2 hours then I have to plug it in for 8 hours?
Get that down to like 10 minutes tops.
I also think it's interesting how none of these democrats bring up the fact that we are going to have to tear up and repave every single road in the united states.
Not just roads. Bridges. Garages. Parking lots. Everything.
Electric cars are heavy. Pick up the battery from your gasoline car. Those things are pretty heavy. And all that does is run your AC and Radio.
EV batteries are heavy. This means more wear and tear on roads from friction alone. Plus the extra weight, bridges and car garages will need to be restructured.
This is a money pit.
And I guarantee that every single one of these people who support these EV mandates have some kind of profit at stake.

No shop owner wants to eat the price of an EV battery should something go wrong. They suck. I have yet to meet any one person who agrees with a single thing ya said.
